fertility appointment in cambridge

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has had the first appt at addenbrookes as I'd love to know what to expect. Will they scan me on the day? Recommend hsg, clomid? So far all my tests have been ok, dh has had two SAs both with excellent count and mobility but high abnormal forms. We've been trying a year.

I tried to ring the clinic but no response, or answerphone...

Hi keepit I had fertility tests done at addenbrookes a few yrs ago. In answer to your q, our first appt in June was lots of talking and we both had a pelvic exam. Then a discussion about what tests they recommended. I had a hsg and scan, dh had to do another sample, and these took place over June and July. We then met the consultant again to discuss the result, in my case the hsg found uterine fibroids and one blocked tube so I was due to have keyhole surgery in October. I found out I was pg early September so the surgery was cancelled! I felt huge relief to have found out what was wrong with me, I'd had symptoms of fibroids for years and without knowing, I feared the worst! so to find out definitely relaxed me. Hope this helps.
