Hey everyone my partner and I have a 17 year old boy,and would like a close age gap between him and the next one, no more than 3 years, as we both have brothers and sisters close in age, and it was nice growing up liking the same things etc? If anyones trying for their next ones, which age gaps did you leave? Thanks

17 years? do you mean months?

You can't plan an age gap really as who knows when you'll fall pregnant so if you want a small age gap then get trying now

I have an 18 nearly 19 month old son and have started thinking about this - I am also keen on there not being a big age difference (didnt enjoy that as a child myself) but its more because of my age (38) - having said that we are conscious of ensuring our son has us to himself for his 'babyhood' as much as possible - so we are waiting until he turns 2 and will then start TTC - if we get lucky and fall quickly then he'll be 3 or thereabouts when the new baby arrives.

Yes sorry I meant 17 months! Was tired when I wrote this last night! Yes they can get very clingy and jealous if a new baby comes along quite soon after. I meant to add too that I have PCOS and got diagnosed when he was 1, so I have no idea if it will take me a while to concieve. We conceived him after 3 months of trying so fingers crossed!

i wanted a 2 yr gap but have been TTC#2 for a yr and still nothing. I say if you know you want more than one - get going on it!!
