Hi, I wondered if anyone has any thoughts about what been happening to me?
Last year I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in June and then another at 8 weeks in October. For both pregnancies I fell on straight away in the same month of trying. In October I had a D&C and we decided to wait until the new year before trying again.

We are now on the 5th cycle of trying without success. With every try after ovulation (sorry, I'm no good with all the initials!), I get really, really strong pregnancy symptoms. Last month I had a very faint positive test and was 2 days late, which had made me think that everything is happening as it should be apart from the implantation.

Im going to talk to my GP about it but in the meantime I wondered if anyone has had anything similar or has any thoughts on what's happening??.

You sound like you are having a really hard time Sad.

With me early pregnancy symptoms feel almost exactly like PMS symptoms so I personally wouldn't rely on symptoms.

The faint positive followed by 2 days late sounds like a chemical pregnancy, you conceived but it didn't implant or if it did it soon failed after that.

I think you should speak to your GP, hope you get some decent advice and best of luck.

Hi, thanks for your reply and good wishes.
I know that pregnancy and pms can have the same symptoms it's just I didn't get them when I we took a 3 month break, or before we started trying last year.
I feel like the fertilisation part it happening but not the implantation, and it's frustrating because I don't know why!

One of my friends has just been diagnosed with Hughes syndrome?
I'm not too sure about all the details, but I think your doctor would now more. I hope it all goes okay for you.

Really sorry to hear about your MCs Sad

You might want to check out immune issues, which can lead to problems with implantation and early miscarriage. Really good luck.
