Hip X-Ray and TTC

I'm due to have my hip/back x-rayed tomorrow. I am currently TTC and am wondering whether to postpone the appointment until I'm sure I'm not PG (beginning of next cycle in 2 weeks).

I have read that x-rays can damage sperm. I'm not currently PG, I'm on CD15 and all signs indicate that I will OV either today or tomorrow. Should I worry about the affect this will have on conceiving this month?

I think they usually ask, "is there any chance you could be PG?", before they do the Xray. And you'll have to say yes. Hmm. Maybe phone them up and see what they say?

I decided to postpone the appointment to put my mind at ease. If it had been a dental x-ray or elsewhere on my body I might not have but since they'd essentially be x-raying my pelvis I thought better not.
