been getting positive ovulation tests for a week now, whats going on, is that normal?

I agree, it sounds fishy to me and you can have bleeds while pg, I'd do one now before af due as if it is pos now you can maybe date it back to month before, if strong + if you wait you won't know which cycle it was from, never heard of opt getting a pos result for that long, it wouldn't do any harm just to do a cheepy test now

ov sticks would only show up a pregnancy from the last cycle. You could be having positives because you have a hormonal imbalance and/or your body keeps gearing up to ov but isn't quite making it...

I really would recommend doing a pg test though, having such strong lines over this length of time is pretty unusual?!

I had 7 days of positive tests this time round too. I'm pretty sure it was the same case when i conceived my son.

Am now 2 days late for AF but am scared of pregnancy tests so not sure if it is a good sign or not yet!

Also i did a little search of past threads and found a few where people who this had happened to ended up getting pregnant that time round - maybe it is double ovulation! :)

did another ov test and its a very strong line.
so i must be ovulating alot.

I did another opk test just to see if mine did the same for you as detected surge Monday, did it yesterday and mine is neg now which is what I thought it should be.... Well you don't know your not pg this cycle yet as you are testing the same time as me I think and it wouldnt show but id see what happens there and if bfn then ( fx it won't be) is maybe give the number on the opk tests a ring for advice or book an appointment with gp to discuss, there are some ladies on here that have got neg hpt very late even though pg or maybe your ov cycle is abit mad

Your right it is strange, late Last night i noticed ewcm again and i did another ov test this am and it came up strqight way with a strong line. So decided to have Sex again this am incase.

now for some reason i had a weird stomach pain, a dull ache, i don't know what on earth is happening to my body.

this ttc is actually doing my head in.

its like torture waiting to see if your are actually pregnant, plus theres the not drinking etc just incase.

So After my 7 days of Opk's I have tested and BFP! So for me is was a good sign :)

Congrats bazzle, the opk really should only stay pos for like 2 days, when they went + for me at different dates I have been of too!
White I never go off the alcohol til a ndp, it's hard enough refraining from it for 9 months never mind longer, plus after the year I had of trying to concieve first just never thought I would, I'd stoped the folic acid and everything as I thought I was just wasting money lol

dodgy batch white? Sooooo strange to get positives all the time. It could also indicate a hormone imbalance though if you feel well in yourself is no reason to think this.

Morning . Had af Type cramps all night. Something weird is going on. Must be ov pain Or poas implsntation pain? I think i may have ovulated twice. Read on poas Site that hpt Show up a positive for pregnsncy First. So yeszrrdays pg Test was BFN so must be BFN and must be ovulating. Kitty totally get what your saying but my son died due to heart abnormality so i cant take any risks however Tiny they may be.
Wish i had a scanning machine to See whats going on inside lol

Hi white, sorry had no idea I can't imagine the trauma and pain you've been through, ofcourse I'd be the same and think I couldn't take any chances, hope your not blaming yourself for it though, it's very unlikely anything you did/ didn't would make any difference

Thanks kitty,just did another Strong ov Test and anither def BFN pg Test. I maybe gearing up to ovulate, but then Not making it for some reason.

I had a run of 7 positive OPK's this cycle, i tested 2 weeks after my last positive OPK and got a very strong BFP right away.

By my calculations and OV pains i think i ovulated on day 3 of positives - no idea why they kept positive after that but i did have OV pains again on day 5 so maybe i did OV twice?!

On other threads people have suggested that perhaps LH stays high in your system for a few days if fertilisation occurs so maybe OPK's could be a very early sign that you are likley to get pregnant - who know's?! For me anyway it turned out to be a good sign :)

i did say try!

still don't know whats goign on mon and tue had a strong positive line with fmu.
tested both days, later in the day, but the test was cominng up lighter.
so the strongest positive is first thing.
when its not supposed to be the most positive.
done three hpt now and they are all bfn.
so no idea whats happening.
will test again tomorrow am.

keep us posted as it is a proper little mystery

have you tried doing the opk under the tap to check it isn't faulty?!

btw I get me best results around 11am, the aft test is always less strong! Confusing isn't it?! what cycle day are you on now - do you have regular cycles?

If the ov tap test is neg maybe invest in a more expensive hpt, if that's neg again then I think I'd book an appointment to discuss is with someone x
