Yes ted you must stay here as our good luck charm!! It was me that said about a tinkle, I've definatly heard it helps the swimmers on their way, I guess I'll be going for the multiples this month lol
what a hard life
Winkle I think Lilly is right, it's unlikely the monitor is wrong and maybe explains why you may not have got a + in the following cycles?! This will be a good test anyway
I wish I was dpo still gearing up to get started on the great seduction Grin

kittykatsforever · 29/06/2012 08:34

Sorry lolly, iPhone thought you'd be a Lilly

winkle2 · 29/06/2012 08:42

Thanks everyone :)

I hope the + was right on the monitor too!

Ted - That sounds like a super strong one you've got there! Are you hoping for a girl or a boy?

OP posts:
tedmundo · 29/06/2012 09:49

Tested again this morning and still a line, not stronger though which has made me twitchy. Roll on Monday. Until I get past AF date, I won't be able to believe it.

I have 2 boys so I would be lying if I didn't think a girl would be nice. But if it a boy, then at least I know what to do with them! They are pretty simple creatures.

Hi all
Trying to catch up with all your messages, sorry in advance if I miss anything out.
Congratulations ted what great news you must be so happy and it's good to know that I am not the only one who will try anything to get this to work. I am also legs up in the air for at least half hour after!!
resipsa I see what you mean, no Mersea is from Mersea Island it is where I met my partner, he was an outdoor education instructor and I do youth work. We were both there working on a summer camp for young people and we have worked it for 2 weeks in the summer ever since that was 12 years ago. I do have a love of France though and usually in September we go to the Pyrenees, again it is connected to my partner's work (good for climbing). Although I just do the sightseeing and wine tasting!!
Sorry to hear stress levels are high at the moment fatsa stress can have such an effect on so much I hope things improve for you soon and hoping you get your bfp soon.
Hi ribs I am on 100mg of Clomid taken day 2-6 of cycle then scan on cd12, if there are eggs ready I then have my injection of HGG. I have had some sickness feeling and I do wake up with a bit of a headache I take mine just before I go to bed so hopefully I sleep through the worse of it. Know what you mean about the spots I'm looking particularly glamorous with a large on my forehead at the moment! I will try the EPO see if that helps cheers.
Due to test on 11th - good luck to you all

fatasbutter · 29/06/2012 10:18

Hello all
Feeling a bit me me me again sorry! But I think it's actually an early AF which has been pretending to be a maybe implantation bleed...Sad
For a moment I did get really excited and now I just feel crushed, but onwards and upwards! It's still not the full on AF (always have a few days spotting first) yet which means I'm not cd1 yet, but when it comes I will dust myself off and jump back in with enthusiasm (hopefully)!
Good luck for everybody else and good luck for AF day ted x

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 29/06/2012 10:33

Hi fatas sorry it looks like af is on the way. It's so horrible when the signs point to pregnancy and then to af. It feels like it has been snatched away from you.

Hope you have a good weekend and your dh is feeling less stressed. Maybe have some Wine it always helps me.

Ted have got my fx for you. Am sure you are fine but I know what you mean about not being able to relax until you have missed af. No Wine for you but have a decaf Brew

winkle2 · 29/06/2012 10:33

Sorry she got you fatas :(

Ted - 2 girls and a boy would be lovely but so are 3 boys! Aw well excited for you!

I think there's only me and RIBS left from the orginal April thread now waiting for our BFP. So it's surely my turn next Grin

Christelle2207 · 29/06/2012 10:52

sorry fatas if af comes, so cruel, i think my drawn out afs have been cp, what do you think?
4-5 dpo and symptom spotting driving me nuts already. have lots of cm today and also have faint cramp a bit like ov cramp. +opk was sunday, does the jury think these are good signs or does more dtd beckon just incase of a freak late ov?

fatasbutter · 29/06/2012 10:56

Well I think the general consensus is that it's difficult to do too much dtd!! So u may as well! Wink
Yes the AF being long or strange could be chem preg I suppose christelle - without a BFP it's hard to say tho isn't it? Or did u have any around AF time?? My head is completely confused with all this malarkey!

Mersea · 29/06/2012 12:01

Sorry AF got you fatas I am the same with some spotting first so it is always a bit difficult pin pointing cd1, especially as I have to phone the hospital on cd1 to book my scan. I can't start my clomid until I have a confirmed scan. I am trying to stay positive but at 40 I am starting to feel like my chances are slipping away. I have been a little tearful the last couple of days and grumpy (sorry dp) I moaned at him yesterday for spending too long in tesco on his way home from work, turns out he was buying me flowers.Blush

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 29/06/2012 12:20

mersea try not to get down. 40 is the new 30 don't you know. Friend of mine is 40 and has a low ovarian reserve (am sure your reserve is fine). She has been put on a brand new treatment to help reverse low reserve, not long ago this was thought to be impossible. Anyway my point is there are loads of things they can do to help you conceive, best of luck with the clomid.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 29/06/2012 12:30

Need some advice.

Have had positive opks Wednesday and Thursday. Dh was working last night so we only dtd on Wednesday. My ewcm has dried up, is there any point dtd tonight or will I have missed the egg?

Dd is sick at moment, dh is shattered from work and I am shattered from looking after dd. Really don't feel like it but should we dtd tonight?

fatasbutter · 29/06/2012 13:37

Oh no mersea I have done similar to my DH the other day an he sent me flowers at work! Was so surprised and felt so guilty!
We must have PMA! Try not to feel too low - it ain't over til the red lady sings! X

fatasbutter · 29/06/2012 13:39

Ps I love that we almost have filled up the thread and it's not even July yet!! Grin

Christelle2207 · 29/06/2012 13:39

reckon you should just in case. im in a similar boat!

fatasbutter · 29/06/2012 13:43

whenshewas I think there may be point in dtd tonight as the opk could be 24-48 hrs before egg actually released - and based on the it could be released today couldn't it? Then again, it's so difficult to get the energy when you all feel like that so u may have to make a judgement call when the time comes!! How about a low key seduction with candlelit dins and wine??! Good luck x

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 29/06/2012 14:11

Right I will try and man up (woman up ????) and pounce on dh tonight. Wine has a bad effect on dh takes the wind out of his sails so might save that for afterwards.

winkle2 · 29/06/2012 14:19

whenshewas I would def go for it tonight, one last try. If I'm DTD tonight after I got my positive a week ago then so should you! LOL! I would normally stop DTD after the positive but after my freaky April where AF came 19 days after my positive, I don't take any chances.

mersea sorry you're feeling rubbish but try not to get down.

OP posts:
WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 29/06/2012 14:53

Hi winkle I think we have both been freaked out by an earlier than expected peak. And you are so right if you are still dtd 1 week after the peak I really should do it too.

Not too optimistic this week as cm as not been particularly ew this month but it is worth a try. I know dh's swimmers are up to the job so I will keep my fingers crossed.

winkle2 · 29/06/2012 14:59

I only DTD on Tuesday and aiming for tonight - did try last night but hubby was too hot so we stopped. Grrrr for warm weather, it's messing up my TTC plans!

OP posts:
Mersea · 29/06/2012 15:51

I agree it does take some effort to dtd when you really don't feel up to it and can seem a bit too clinical but I guess the possible result is worth it. Thanks for all your kind words just a bit hormonal today I guess.

winkle2 · 29/06/2012 15:54

I CBA to DTD half the time! I know that sounds bad but after 10 years together it's not number 1 on our agenda!

Although when we do do it, it's lovely! So i'm glad we're TTC cause we're really making the effort with each other :)

Just remembered I had a dream about NicolaHazel last night! LOL

wishfulthinking1 · 29/06/2012 16:28

:-( think AF is in her way. Bitch. I'm only on cd27 (counted 1st day of bleeding of mc as cd1) it's not heavy- have managed to kid myself it's implantation bleeding- but it's got a bit heavier so it's looking unlikely. Arse. But atleast it's the weekend and DF and I are going out for dinner. Roll on next month!

Hope you're all ok. Ted, just so pleased for you, but still chuckling! X
