OMG, Ted am so happy for you! Can't believe I missed this one last night. My last post must have crossed with yours. God, I am shedding a tear for you. I must get a grip as at work. Feel like I know where you are as my ERPC on 19 March and would be UNBELIEVABLE (in a good way) to get a BFP this month. As you tested at night rather than with FMU and the line was strong, it can only be good news for a really sticky one (or two Grin?).

Massive congrats!

fatasbutter · 28/06/2012 09:46

Thank you all for your kind messages Smile

Am at work so distracted but just wanted to say (again) whoop whoop to ted - I really am pleased for you as I understand how hard things are after mc's - it is very exciting: today you are pregnant x

resipsa · 28/06/2012 09:50

And fatas, sorry to hear that DH is having work stress but try to believe that things will work out. My DH was under threat of redundancy for the 2 months before DD was born and it was really hard for him but in the end it worked out OK. His employers were so crap and so desperate to avoid making a redundancy payout that they just gave him no work to do for about 6 months meaning that he got to stay at home with me and DD for 3 months after she was born. He then got another job and in my mat leave I helped him claim against the old employer for the redundancy money they should just have paid at the outset. He was so stressed by it all just before the birth and I couldn't help much cause I was trying to focus on DD and stay positive. It HAD to get better and it did. Hope it works out soon for you two.

HeeHeeHeeBum · 28/06/2012 10:48

Just a quicky from phone as no home internet connection. Haven't been able to keep up but I see congratulations for Ted - yay!

6dpo here and no spotting so far so better than last cycle. just hoping for decent lp this month.

hope you are all well

RIBS · 28/06/2012 12:29

I thought id posted this morning, but it seems all my stupid phone has done is take a photo of it. Ohhh Grrrrr. So il start again.

Massive if not enormous congrats to you ted. Bloody marv news. You've made my day!! Im sure its a sticky one, ive got everything x'd for you. Lets hope its the first one of many

And oh bollocks fatas, stress is a pain, but I think its worse when its men, they dont talk about it and it builds up into an explosion. Hope things start to improve for you both soon. X

Im proper chuffed that im not the golden oldie on the thread and that most of us are over 30 pushing 40 Blush. I really felt like time was against me, but I think ive chilled out a bit more now. Thanks girls. Smile

mersea im on my 4th cycle on clomid on cd12. I started using cp last month and am taking EPO this month. I got a load of ewcm on day 8 then nothing since - bit bizarre, but thats me for ya! How are you doing with the symptoms. I had shocking sizzyness and sickness initially, they've gone and left me with a constant banking head and a face full of spots. FFS!!!

RIBS · 28/06/2012 13:15

Make that dizzyness not sizzyness, and a banging head not a banking one. And the ability to type or even speak a coherant sentance may also be a symptom of being a div today. Grin

OpenMindedSceptic · 28/06/2012 13:44

ted fantastic news! This has made my day, I am so happy for you!

YikesHereWeGo · 28/06/2012 14:00

Amazing news Ted!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin
We're all so pleased for you!
Now who's next for a BFP?!
Anyone?

likesoxinbed · 28/06/2012 14:15

Huge congrats to ted - happy news indeed :o

Fingers xd for everyone, including you and your hubby fatas

xxx

resipsa · 28/06/2012 14:18

Today really is a good day. Just had lunch with a friend who lives v close and she too has just found out that she's pregnant after a MMC last year. Delighted, of course, but also a bit scared. Bring on the babies!

SunshineOutdoors · 28/06/2012 14:22

I don't think it's going to be me this month [selfpitying emoticon]

I've ordered a basal body thermometer so I can start having a clue when I'm ovulating. After af comes I plan to dtd eod as much as I can but also start charting so I get an idea for the cycle after that.

Feel pretty negative still but it's nice to have a plan - especially one that doesn't rely on a bfp straight away - in a way it's helping if I look forward a few cycles rather than pinning my hopes on one.

Congratulations again ted - I'm cracking open the champagne for you! Enjoy every moment

tedmundo · 28/06/2012 15:07

fatas .. So sorry to hear that DH is having such a hard time of it at work. have you got any holidays planned in the near future? If not, maybe book some time off and let him get some space from it all. I really hope you are pg this month to give him something else to think about. We are all guilty of thinking work is far more important than it actually is.

RIBS .. Golden oldie ha ha! I am actually in awe of your down with it text speak! You are practically a teenager! Totes amaze balls hon!

kittykat .. You did indeed prompt the testing! Psychic for sure!

As for what we did this month, well I took EPO which I never have done before, we DTD on cd 11, cd 13, cd 14 and cd 15, with cd 13 being the Lh surge day and cd 14 the OV day. Also, I winkled for 10 mins after each time and gave myself one while I was winkling!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 28/06/2012 15:22

Sat here giggling at "gave myself one while I was winkling"

modernvickyp · 28/06/2012 15:28

Sorry to jump in, I hope that I am not contradicting MB etiquette! Have been following threads and have a question!

Before that congratulations Ted!

AF is scheduled for Sunday - as is my participation in the Sunwalk (Half marathon walk for breast cancer charity). I am currently approx 12 days DPO - no symptoms (in fact having minus symptoms as bublês have been v. sore for the week before AF for the last couple of months and no amount of prodding will induce so much as a hint this month).

So, do I waste a test on Saturday if AF hasn't arrived just in case? If, by some feat of magic, it is a BFP should I still do the half? Have done all the training and reached target for sponsorship so would be a shame not to but after quite a while trying I wouldn't want to risk anything!

Your sage thoughts would be gratefully received.

RIBS · 28/06/2012 15:52

hahahahahaha. Big LOL moment at ted giving herself one. Fab. But will so be doing it too. Did you do it with legs at full sail? Cos it wont happen for me that way, I think I can get there with a bit of elevation tho. I wont go into any further detail ladies Grin.

Hi vic. Do the walk. It wont make any diff, especially if you've trained for it. Even if you were running id say do it. I do a lot of sport, it wont make any difference.

Im off rowing tonight, first time since I was about 13, so that was only a few yrs ago, being the whipper snapper I am ted Cowabunga dude! lol. Im sooo gonna get thrown in the harbour!

modernvickyp · 28/06/2012 16:06

Thanks RIBS - I thought as much was just questioning myself and in need of your kind reassurance!

Good luck with the rowing - from my knowlege (meeting rowers in the bar at University) they are v fit and healthy - ours used to run up and down a 20 storey building for hours for fun!

tedmundo · 28/06/2012 16:11

And it thus shall be named 'tinkling'

Hahahaha!

winkle2 · 28/06/2012 16:21

Tinkling whilst winkling?! And we have the term pinkling from Pinkie29 which is if you lay on front!

New words to add to the many related to TTC!

YikesHereWeGo me me me, please can it be me next?!

OP posts:
fatasbutter · 28/06/2012 16:36

Lol @ pinkling!! Mental image Confused

So an a bit confused now. Some mild AF pains and proper blood now - not as heavy as AF and also several days early but getting heavier not disappearing! Am more convinced that AF early due to all the stress and not that this is implantation bleed! Don't remember this much bleeding last time... Hmm

winkle2 · 28/06/2012 17:15

Right, something very strange is happening... I just went to the bathroom and I'm sure I had EWCM!! But my monitor gave me my peak a week ago?!

Strange thing is my phone app marks today as OV (CD20) and usually I get my smiley on an OV stick on CD 16-18 so this seems more right for me. The monitor giving me a peak on CD13 was very unusual for me.

And it def can't be hubby's sperm cause we didn't DTD last night!

Most odd!

We were planning on DTD tonight anyway plus we DTD on Tuesday as we were DTD every other day this week just in case ? thank god we hadn?t given up for the month!

OP posts:
fatasbutter · 28/06/2012 17:39

Oh winkle I too am flummoxed by my body!! Hmm

RIBS · 28/06/2012 17:39

Could b 1 of 2 things winkle. I get ewcm b4 af, anything from a wk to a day b4 the old hag arrives.
Or fm has picked up the surge, but it can actually b a wk later the egg pops. Dtd just in case. Hope its the latter!

backwardpossom · 28/06/2012 18:14

How are you all doing? fatas I haven't got a clue what goes on in there either... I think I am 6 or 7 DPO and have had funny stretchy-type pains around where my uterus would be all afternoon. I'm trying not to think it's anything (probably wind Hmm ), but I can't help wonder if this is implantation...

YikesHereWeGo · 28/06/2012 18:26

Me too winkle, CD20 here too with lots of strange ewcm despite ov sticks telling me I ov'd last weekend. Most strange. Have been dtd every day for last week or so thinking 'oh well, it's only for one or two more days till my temp goes up and I can give the jiggy a rest' but oh no, the signs are still ambiguous enough for me to need to keep going. I guess it's good exercise if nothing else, lol.

winkle2 · 28/06/2012 18:28

Looks like we'll both be dtd tonight yikes!
