Evaporation line

Has anyone ever not been preg but on close inspection of the "stick" that you have peed on, seen a very, extremely faint second line? Is this the evaporation line and should it be disregarded?

When I say faint I mean seriously faint. This has got me a few times and I'venpt been preg :(

Hi, did the faint line appear within the time on the instructions?

My line with DS was light, so I took a photo on my phone before the 10 mins (or however long) was up so it didn't mess with my head when I looked at the stick (again and again!) later...

We'd had a bloody horrendous time getting pregnant so I could hardly dare believe it. And now I've re-entered the war zone to ttc number 2, I must be an idiot!

Thank you, I think it came after 10 mins or so. To be honest I am confident it's just the line that would be activated if I were pregnant, that I can see. This has happened before and been nothing, so think I'm just clutching at straws!

So easy to do, I'm imagining symptoms too which are really my usual per-menstrual gripes! It's prob 12days post ovulation for me today so late enough for a definite positive to show up

Thanks for your reply though weirdly, I'm ttc no.2 this time as well and thought I knew better than go down the whole early testing, early (non-existent) symptom spotting route again!
