Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

Damn you autocorrect meant strop.

DulcetMoans · 09/06/2012 16:21

Congrats Queen! What a productive thread this has been!

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 16:23

nicola it just said 'pregnant', wasn't the type with a conception indicator. I want one of those now though, can't seem to satisfy my poas addiction Grin

thank you dulcet!

NicolaHazel · 09/06/2012 16:24

I don't want AF, I want a first month baby like my mum managed both times!

Doubt it will happen though as she hadn't had 17.5 years of contraception prior!

Maclairey · 09/06/2012 16:27

Many congrats Queen so pleased for you.

I know how you feel Nicola. My mum fell pregnant on the pill....3 times!!

Pinkie29 · 09/06/2012 16:31

Queen GrinGrinGrinGrin

Congrats!!! xx

NicolaHazel · 09/06/2012 16:31

Bloody hell, Maclairey, that's amazing! Clearly not her type of contraception!

Queen...send DH out for another test! What cycle number was this?

Are these threads the most productive ever?!

OP posts:
EchoDragon · 09/06/2012 16:31

:o:o:o:o:o Queen I'm so pleased for you. Have you had any symptoms yet?

Another BFP this thread is the place to stick around.

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 16:33

Oh you never know nicola - either way I bet it won't be long for you.

Thanks maclairey Smile

As fate would have it I've got a new and unused box of pregnacare conception tablets that I was going to start on next week along with some cheapo ov tests. First to say they want them can have them Smile

NicolaHazel · 09/06/2012 16:33

Yes please Queen!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 09/06/2012 16:34

And I hope so, but reading all your stories makes me far more cautious and pessimistic than I was. :-/

OP posts:
QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 16:35

thank you echo Grin I guess they must be symptoms now as the test has confirmed it Grin so sore boobs, tired, hungry, a bit emotional (cried in work yesterday for no reason whatsoever, think somebody spoke to me in a slightly 'mean' way or something! So unlike me though, I hardly ever cry!), can't really think of anything else at the moment. I guess all of those symptoms could have been pre-af ones as well though, except I'm usually more moody than emotional pre-af haha!

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 16:36

no problem nicola, inbox me your address and I'll send them out to you Smile

Maclairey · 09/06/2012 16:38

It definitely seems to be a productive thread I am certainly sticking around.

I know Nicola that's what I thought, it does make me wonder that in 10+ years I have never had an "accident". I start stressing that maybe I am infertile.

Queen how many cycles are you? Were you on the pill before?

Popinda · 09/06/2012 16:54

Congratulations queen! GrinGrinGrin so happy for you!!! You still can use your preconception pregnant care tablets. Its says on the packet that you can keep using them even when you get pg. the vitamins content is very similar as in already pregnant ones, if you want the ones with omega 3, fish oil, just buy it separately as it is much much cheaper. Believe me, I have spent hours in boots comparing all the different pregnancy vitamins and possible combinations. Grin obviously got too much time on my hands! Grin

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 17:12

maclairey I haven't been on the pill for years so had regular cycles for a long time now. Having said that it still took us over a year to conceive! Got there in the end though as will all of you ladies.

Thanks pop Smile Its the conception vitamins I've got not the pregnant ones, I hadn't started taking them yet so won't bother starting, will either just carry on with the folic acid or might buy pregnant vitamins.

Pinkie29 · 09/06/2012 17:47

I've added my pics queen, not that you need to compare now Grin

alwyn · 09/06/2012 17:59

I'm just taking the folic acid at the moment. I have a fairly balanced diet with lots of leafy greens anyway, so guess I'm getting most of what I need from that. Might change my mind it it starts to take ages though Grin

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 18:07

pinkie it won't let me click on your name, have you made your profile public?

Popinda · 09/06/2012 18:28

Queen - sorry I did mean the conception vitamin, you still can take them even if you pregnant. the are almost the same as the pregnant ones, I have compared them all. :) just buy a omega 3 fish oil separately and it will be the same. In fact it would be exactly the same as if you were going to buy the most expensive pregnant care max pills. they are like £20 for a month supply. combination of your conception pills and omega 3 pills you will get the same effect, just much cheaper. In fact I just compared them again online and the conception ones have higher dosage of some vitamins. Its up to you, this is just a suggestion, but I would def do it that way otherwise I would bankrupt before I even have a baby. :o

DulcetMoans · 09/06/2012 18:42

I like coming in to happy messages, yay! This is a happy place. Hope it continues that way.

Don't give up hope Nicola, it's only the start of the month. Even if it wasnt this cycle, the next one isn't far behind.

KickTheGuru · 09/06/2012 18:42

Queenie - am thrilled for you. Have a little happiness tear running down me ugly mug when you posted about the digital test and your DH walking around with a soppy smile.

Am really, really happy for you mate. Can't tell you mate: ) xxx

NicolaHazel · 09/06/2012 18:55

Oh, I haven't given up hope, Dulcet, I'm just very impatient and have a hugely fertile family!

I have no right to be upset yet as first cycle is rare for anyone. I'd just rather not have the constant aches and pains I'm getting!

OP posts:
Maclairey · 09/06/2012 19:00

Right DH has gone out so I plan to order a pizza, have a glass of Wine and have control of the tv. No football yay!!! Think I even have an episode or 2 of one born every minute that I havent watched yet.

Oh dear, the things that make me happy these days :)

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 19:10

Aww thank you so much kick Smile I really hope you get your BFP soon, can't tell you how much you deserve it.

maclairey my DH has had to go out too on a pre-arranged night with the lads (so no celebrating for us I'm afraid) - so my night in will be similar to yours, minus the Wine! But do you know what, I can't think of anything I'd rather do more! Grin
