Queen - you'll have to pour your water into the cardboard pint glass! We normally go to IOW festival but not this year. I'd probably still go if I was pregnant though. Maybe treat myself to a caravan if I felt special!

Queen the must recent one looks darker than my test at 12dpo Grin I was trying to upload so you can compare but am on my phone so don't think it's possible! Will try later on laptop

DH is going to pick me up a digital test, he'll be home in a few hours. He said he'll pop to Tesco to buy it, I remember seeing a pack of two Tesco digital tests for about 7 quid, anyone had any experience of these? Or do you think I should stick with the CB?

queen usually bang on 28 days but then this is my first cycle off the pill, so no idea of what it might settle down to!

Oh and we dtd this morning for the first time since finding out! I was like a nervous teenager! Dp said we don't have to if I'd rather not and assured me his willy wouldn't get near my little poppy seed (I've been calling her poppy) and clearly decided its a girl already! All went well tho weren't as ahem rigorous as usual!

He's been with a couple of pg girls before (I find that odd!)

I'm in the same boat, alwyn. First cycle off the pill / injection. Used to have spot on 28 day cycles many moons ago, but no idea what will happen now.

CD19 now, so heading towards knowing, I suppose. I could do without all the lady pain / twinges I've been suffering though!

My DH was so cute over December when we thought we were pg. He needed a lot of proof before he believed that DTD was safe.

Hence why I know :)

Afternoon all, must say my garden looks quite pretty now.

Sadly Alwyn I am still on the longest cycle known to man. 49 days and counting. Clearly my body has forgotten what to do. I hope the rest of you on your first cycle after the pill have more luck than me.

Hi Newbie

No I haven't. I thought I would just take the relaxed approach for the first cycle. I guess I didnt really expect it to be this long. I dont remember my cycles before the pill either do that doesn't help. I have had the occasional twinge but not much of anything else. I don't know whether I have ovulated or not :( It's the not knowing what's going on that's bothering me. If EDTD just turned up then at least I could start with the CBFM and try and pinpoint ovulation (if any).

I am beginning to think that maybe I have "missed" my first period because my body is still trying to figure what to do. Maybe the build up of hormones caused my body not to remember to ovulate and that's what I am waiting for. Who knows, it's a guessing game really.

Frustrating though.

Sounds like there's a few of us first cyclers :-)

I've had loads of twinges / pain since coming off contraception. Not sure if that's good or bad?! :-/

I'm curious as to what my body will do next. Physically feeling quite pre-menstrual today. Hmmm!

Oh I hope that all of your bodies settle down after pill/injection soon so you all get more of an idea of your cycles. Won't be too long hopefully Smile

I just got a digital test and tested -BFP!!!! I can't believe it! I'm in shock, DH is walking around with a soppy smile on his face. Today is the best day ever!! Grin

Alwyn i'm so frustrated. But didn't expect things to just get back to normal. I did miss periods when using contraception and did have the odd long cycle. I know there us no more real point testing as body is getting back to normal.

Nicola like you said have felt twinges and stuff so things seem to be getting back to normal.

I just want AF so I can have a proper first cycle totally contraceptive free. I want a baby of my own! I reserve the right to stripe until I get one!

Would have gone mad without all you lovely ladies tho.
