Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

Looking promising for Queen though. :-)

Nicola it might still be early days for you if you are testing end of month?

Kicking how many dpo are you? Still early if you sue next week

Report
redstrawberry · 09/06/2012 10:13

Due! Not sue

Sorry to hear about the BFNs but agree that its still early yet.

There's now a photo of my 'line' on my profile, see what you all think?! I think I'm 10dpo today btw.

EchoDragon · 09/06/2012 10:24

Well Queen the photo isn't uber clear. But I would say it was a faint BFP. Congratulations.

Bfn here too, but I haven't even ov this cycle yet, so no surprise there! Smile just wanted to be in the poas club! Grin and I got over 30 Internet cheep test at home. Secretly hoping wont need them after this month! Smile
Def looking promising for queen! I read in one of the conception books ( what to expect before you expecting) that faint line is a positive! As only a pg hormone can produce that line! Have you tried clear blue digital? When was/is your af due? Sorry if you already said that earlier! So much going on here, can't remember everything. Blush

Hi, I've just posted on first time frolickers but then found this thread too.
I was trying for a while but had a bad year last year so stopped, this year have decided to have a fresh start. Not been trying but not been not trying for the last couple of months.
Have long cycles 33-36 days so thinking of using ov sticks to find out when I am oving. Had blood tests and ultrasound last year but all fine and think it was stress stopping me conceiving.
Since I've spent a while distancing myself from ttc I feel a bit out of it, can anyone tell me what I should be doing as far as supplements, diet etc?

Queen - I can't view your profile?!

QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 10:31

pop just click on my name on any post I've made.

thanks echo the photo isn't the best quality, it went a bit blurry in between being uploaded from my phone. But it pretty much looks like that in RL.

Welcome milo the best advice anyone can give you (ie *kicktheguru Smile) is to have sex every other day all the way through your cycle to maximise your chances.

KickTheGuru · 09/06/2012 10:33

Pop - they lie :)

A faint line can also be an evap line. Not every line is a positive

echo - what did my virtual test say? Did you see the dance?

I have no idea when or if i oved. I just know i should be due on the 14th June

Queen - tried that. Not working. Maybe because I'm on my phone?

Queen - due in about a week I think. I haven't really got it mapped out. Congrats on your faint though, hope it turns bfp soon!!

So there weren't really any surprises for the rest us all then? Haha. Oh well, more luck to us all later in the month.

I did an OV test yesterday - you can tell I've never done one before!! Was so nervous that I'd done it wrong and wasted it!

But yeah, neg. Not surprising given I was only CD8. Will try again today. Got some internet cheapies coming soon so will be able to pee away!!

Maclairey · 09/06/2012 10:59

Well that's a BFN from me too. I guess I just wait out ERTD.

Let's hopes its a big congrats to Queen.

Off to B&Q now to buy stuff to take my mind off babies. I worry about myself sometimes :)

alwyn · 09/06/2012 11:01

Maclairey are you still on the longest cycle known to man??

mrsbugsywugsy · 09/06/2012 11:17

Ooh I didn't notice the new thread.

Kick, hopefully the docs will figure it out soon.

Queen - that definitely looks promising. Is it pink? Apparently evap lines are grey, if it has colour then it's a real line. I refused to believe mine was really a line till I took the clearblue test.

alwyn I will be going to Reading festival when I am around 20 weeks. Hopefully I will have an obvious bump by then so people will avoid trampling me in the moshpit Grin. Am a bit worried about constantly needing to wee.

Sorry the rest of you didn't get your BFPs (yet)

Report
QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 11:23

bugsy will you be going to Reading for the whole weekend? My DH has tickets for V festival the week before but not sure whether to go or not if I turn out to be preg, would be around 12wks then? Yes the line is pink but really faint. I don't really believe it either. I keep saying I'm going to wait but might be tempted to go and get a cb later.

alwyn how long is your cycle usually? I'm normally a 30 dayer, if I'm defo pg then I think I would have conceived around cd15-ish. Saying that though it is completely different for everyone!

Queenie when was af due? Same day as me?

Report
mrsbugsywugsy · 09/06/2012 11:33

Well Queen I am no expert, and it's very early days, but I think congratulations could well be in order Flowers.

I think you get two clearblues in the box so you could do one tomorrow morning, and save the other?

Yes I'm going for the whole weekend. It's up to you but I'm not planning on putting my life on hold while I'm up the duff. Obviously I have no idea how my pregnancy will go, but for now I will assume that I will be fit and healthy until proven otherwise. I'll just make a few concessions eg. an inflatable mattress to sleep on.

Due on Wednesday kick so still 4 days early yet. If Wednesday comes and goes with no af then I may start to believe it then.

Report
QueenOfTheDrama · 09/06/2012 11:37

Thanks bugsy I really hope so. I think I'll see how I go but I used to love drinking copious amounts of beer at festivals so would have to skip that! I've never been to V festival, was always more of a Leeds fest kind of girl, so no idea if the crowds get as manic or not, V is a lot more 'poppy' than the rockier crowds who go to Leeds/Reading, so I can imagine much more of a family type atmosphere? No idea though!

Report
NicolaHazel · 09/06/2012 11:46

V was as manic as Leeds, IMO! Not sure I'd be heading into the pit if pregnant anyway...but that's just me. :-)

And I know what you mean about festivals and beer going hand in hand!
