Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

Neutron Star Collision - might be a piss take but I think its quite sweet! Loving the wrist band pic! I want one! Grin

what foos song did you have alwyn?

Report
NicolaHazel · 08/06/2012 21:20

It does have a good tune to it...a bit of Knights-style galloping type thing!

You can have one if you like...we have far too many :-)

Queen we had Don't wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith, then Walking After You by Foos.

Was amazing and i would have chosen another Foos song as first dance if i could do it again!

I've seen it Pop, it was on demand on our box a while ago. Pretty extreme. I've got 16 and pregnant on now. Oh dear!

Luckily my DH refuses to have such trash on the telly :-)

We're watching a repeat Have I Got News For You!

Dulcet - what channel 16 and pregnant?

Report
DulcetMoans · 08/06/2012 22:04

Finished at 10 but I think it was Viva. If I am watching trash its usually Viva or Really. And I do watch a lot of trash!!

Oh I've seen 16 and pregnant before, feel sorry for some of the girls on there, they look terrified Sad

We only watch viva for south park

no reality shows whatsoever

i must admit we are both complete snobs in that regard. People can't surely be that stupid?

Report
Popinda · 08/06/2012 22:15

Kick - oh yea, they can! I usually watch this things with amazement! Grin

Report
DulcetMoans · 08/06/2012 22:26

Yeah, reality shows take up a fair proportion of my viewing time! You wouldn't like a weekend at my house Kick!

It seems like every second programme on tv at the mo is reality! I do love all the pregnancy/childbirth ones though, one born every minute was my fave- much more realistic than some of the American ones Smile

Report
Popinda · 08/06/2012 23:40

Queen- I agree! Many of the american reality shows are a bit Hmm. But still watch them. I do too like all pg related shows! I loved one born every minute! Watched it religiously every week. Grin I love the bit when the baby was born and everyone got so emotional! Especially dads! Always imagined that one day is going to be me and my dh will be crying like a baby when he sees are dc for the first time! Smile I know that's a bit silly. Blush

I enjoyed OBEM because they filmed it at my local mat unit. Gave me an inkling of what i might experience (eventually)!

DulcetMoans · 09/06/2012 08:07

I'll start the poas party updates then ...... BFN! But it was nice to be a part of the event. Haha.

Alwyn - the first two were at my local too! Then they moved it to Leeds, but I still watched it.

Agree with you that the US ones are rubbish. So over dramatised! Their one born every minute just isn't as honest as ours. It's all about the drama.

Oh thats good alwyn - all the midwives seemed lovely!

pop thats not silly at all!

dulcet sorry about bfn, when are you due af?

My update - took another test, still faint line but possibly slightly darker than yesterday? Still not dark enough for me to accept as a bfp though, going to have to wait a bit longer methinks!

Pinkie29 · 09/06/2012 09:07

Queen sounds good!! Try wait till Monday?

KickTheGuru · 09/06/2012 09:41

BFN here too

But I swear all my rubbish symptoms are from a severe allergy reaction. The thing is that when i wake up with a blocked nose and its all blood, i turn into a mouth breather. That dries my mouth out and i get thirsty .

If i didn't have the blood blocked nose, i would doubt it...
