Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

I got a very strong feeling I'm going to give in into my poas ( I really piarc - pee in a random container, poas is just easier write) addiction tomorrow morning! Grin I don't think I can wait any longer! I'm prepare for bfn, but already have good excuse why that's ok! Because it's to early, not because I'm not pg! Smile

NicolaHazel · 20/06/2012 20:24

Yes, really light, Anna.

Though I was never heavy, it has to be said. This 'real' bleed is the heaviest and most painful ever (so far as I remember!).

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2012 20:36

I'll do one tomorrow if you do pop! I got plenty of cheapies to get through!

redstrawberry · 20/06/2012 21:09

Glad to know you are having a regular bleed nicola!
Fx July will your month. So when's the big day? Are you all set?

redstrawberry · 20/06/2012 21:10

Fx for you Dulcet when are you poas?

NicolaHazel · 20/06/2012 21:11

I'm hopeful for next month too...always hope!

It's October 13th, so heading there at speed. And yes, all set, just need to pay all the balances now !

OP posts:
redstrawberry · 20/06/2012 21:13

Ah it's 3 days after my anniversary :) October is a good month!
Eeek-the bills a always the yucky bit.

NicolaHazel · 20/06/2012 21:16

What was the weather like for yours? I've a feeling it could go either way!

I can't believe how fast our engagement has gone...zoom!!

I had mine in a lovely old hall. Rained a bit, but we had a fire on in the hall and lots of candles so it got pretty cosy indoors.

I guess just be prepared with a big brollie to avoid getting wet. Besides after all this rain over our summer I have my fx for a rain-free oct for you

Popinda · 20/06/2012 21:31

dulcet yes, I'm going to poas tmr morning. It would be good to have poas buddy! Grin

NicolaHazel · 20/06/2012 21:36

Thank you, Red :-) Here's hoping!

Just want it here now; feels like I've been waiting forever!

anna haven't used ov sticks yet. As I understand you POAS every day from cd1 cycle day 1. Then read results to see if you have ovd. You can get cheapies or clear blue.

Seems some people find the clear blue easier to read. But more money. They don't guarantee that you will ov. Just measure hormones to give you an idea of when you may possibly ov. You may not release an egg tho. Best advice seems to be DTD every other day throughout cycle to improve odds.

Newbie2 · 20/06/2012 23:37

How many BFPs have we had now? Pinkie, kitten and Queen?

Popinda · 21/06/2012 06:58

So I gave in and poas this morning. It was bfn as expected, because is still just too early, but at least I satisfied my 'what if'. Will test in couple of day, if I can last that long! Grin

NicolaHazel · 21/06/2012 07:10

It feels like more than that, Newbie, but I can't actually think of any others!

Just put a gentle reminder on Facebook about RSVPing to the wedding. See if I elicit any responses! Shouldn't really have to, but basically said we didn't want surprise guests as they wouldn't be catered for!

Shit! Just noticed I was message 666...stands to reason as the in laws think I'm the devil!!

I admit it, I am a weak, weak woman. I woke up this morning and simply could not talk myself out of POAS. So I did . . . at 6 DPO. It was negative (obviously) but I think I know what Dulcet was talking about when she said she couldn't see a line but could see where the line would be. There was something like a smudge or a blurr where I would expect that second line to be.

I'm using the internet cheapies and I don't think I've seen that before (although I'm not sure I've ever looked for it quite so hard). Any ideas what it could mean?

I'm trying to keep my head firmly in the BFN camp and I know it's ridiculous to even test this early but here I sit, a weak woman with an empty bladder.

Popinda · 21/06/2012 08:38

medusa Smile we in the same boat here! I think I 'seen' same line like you, but be honest I think that's our brains are playing tricks on us! I have 'seen' same lines over and over again last cycle and that turn out to be bfn! I'm also about 6dpo and got bfn this morning as I couldn't resist! Blush what cycle day you on? I'm on cd25, I have ov late this cycle, or maybe I always ov late, just didn't know about it! Smile

MissMedusa · 21/06/2012 08:41

I just read this on peeonastick.com:

"And, if the "positive" line is gray or looks like a "dent" in the test, it is an evaporation line and not a true positive."

I think that's what mine is as the "smudge" is grey and definitely not pink.

Popinda · 21/06/2012 08:51

Just checked my period app and still cd25! Same like 10min ago! Why? Who stopped the time!!!! Sad

MissMedusa · 21/06/2012 09:00

I'm on CD22 so 3 days behind you.

Upon doing some further research I am almost positive it was an evaporation line.

Not that that's going to stop me from rushing to the toilet first thing tomorrow and doing another test though. Argh, crazy TTC lady is back, I thought she was gone for good after the first few cycles of disappointment.

Newbie2 · 21/06/2012 09:37

Nicola fx the hint gets you some RSVPs! If it helps I think every bride has this tricky problem :)

Medusa what cycle are you on now?

I'm now on Fake CD39. Bloating and constipation has returned. Ahhh I'm fed up already and only on my fake cycle :(

MissMedusa · 21/06/2012 09:45

This is cycle 11

Newbie2 · 21/06/2012 09:52

Medusa gosh :( I'll be quiet with my moaning then!

Like a mad lady I have just worked out that if I missed my first natural AF my next one will arrive around 9th July which means I'm still in for a chance of a first anniversary baby...I live in hope :)

MissMedusa · 21/06/2012 10:32

My TTC journey has been a very rocky road. Pretty much everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. DH broke is back on our honeymoon which, in and of itself, has made the physical act of swi difficult to say the least. I've had an ovarian tumour removed and recently we found out DH's SA is less than ideal in terms of motility/morphology (likely due to all the xrays for his back). It has been one hell of a shitty year since we got married a year ago. We could both really use some good news.
