Hey everybody.....just a flying visit to reassure nicola that my first AF after pill was also much darker than on pill. It was also REALLY painful and heavy for two days before seeming to settle down and becoming much lighter and more "normal"

Good idea, Newbie. I quite like a Vera Wang one that people wear at work, so may go for that.

Though I know the one I wear is really loved by H2B, so may stick to it (She by Armani).

Maclairey now on day 61. Still no sign of AF. Grrr.

The Vitex doesn't seem to have had any affect yet. Still i'll hold on a bit longer yet.

Nicola great news about your AF. I'm only slightly .

I do agree waiting sucks. Still when we all have bumps/babies we'll wonder what the fuss was all about.

Hey Everyone, I'm a new! I've been lurking on this thread since last week, its fantastic sharing this info with people going through the same thing.
I'm 24 got my implant out last tuesday, been on it for over 6 years. 3 days later I got bleeding and have everyday except monday (?) Could this still be what they call a breakthrough bleed or a af?
I didnt have any af whilst on the implant, so I also dont have a clue about cycles, ovulating etc..?

Same here! We all do! I think if I check me period app more often the time will go faster or I suddenly discover I'm pg! crazy hey!

I think being a POAS is compulsory for membership of this thread. Be it ov or pg.

Also peeing on random objects to fulfill POAS addiction. For instance I PIAGUNJ - pre in a glass that used to be a nutella jar. Others have equally odd pee containers.

pop I did last week but haven't since. The BFN are just too heartbreaking.

anna i'm not sure. As I said b4 i'm 36 days post removal and no bleeding at all. Checked out nexplanon website. Says most women ov two to three weeks after removal. I'm fairly sure I ovd week b4 last I had classic EWCM. Which was about 2 and a half weeks.

Odds on you should ov in next few weeks. You could always get some ov sticks to test and check. Amazon and ebay do them enmasse cheaply.

Chemical pregnancy is basically a pregnancy that ends in an early miscarriage.

Either through lack of implantation or implants and then miscarries within first few weeks.

Just googled it. Good to know tho. Says that most CP are only detected now as tests are so sensitive. Before tests a women would have a MC without being aware of the pg.

I think your bleed is similar to the bleed you have in the pill-free week.

Use its first day as CD1, but I wouldn't count it as a 'proper' period until the next one.

You shouldn't be green...I'm in SO much pain with AF :-( And a period doesn't mean I OV'd, so it could be false hope!

No, ovulation and period are two separate things. The womb lining comes away because no egg has embedded in it. That will happen whether you've ovulated or not.

Yes, Anna, that's how I'd count it.

I counted the first day of the 'fake' bleed after coming off the pill as CD1 and got to CD29 and am now back at CD1, but with a 'real' bleed!

Anyway...now I have some OV sticks thanks to Queen, when can I start my PIATH (pissing in a tealight holder, Anna) habit again?!

Was your 'fake bleed' quite light? Back in the day when I didnt have my implant my af was usually quite heavy and all day. However the bleeding I have been getting is just at one time of the day and not heavy. Also I didnt bleed monday.
