Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

Nicola I really hope so! It's going to be a long long working week and a longer wait! This could be my 2 ww or start of a cycle...who knows! Only think I can do is keep DTD and wait!

DulcetMoans · 19/06/2012 10:08

Just an update. I forgot to POAS! I know, crazy considering the obsessions we all have. Got woken up early by the cat and before I had properly woken up I was already having a wee but was stick-less! Still no AF though, nothing. The more I read about 'implantation bleeding' the more I think it could be that but it says to wait 4-5 days afterwards to test so I might be better to try wait til the weekend. Someone else was waiting until the weekend, who was that??

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 10:12

It's Pop, Dulcet. I'm meant to be waiting til 30th if ERTD doesn't get me before then! But may have another cheeky PIATH this weekend!

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 10:18

I was meant to wait too...oh well :)

Maclairey · 19/06/2012 10:30

Just rang doctors. Next available appointment with a female doctor at a time that I can work with is Monday 2 July. So I still have another 2 weeks potentially before I can speak to anyone. Ridiculous.

DulcetMoans · 19/06/2012 10:51

Oh no maclairey. Can you go to another doctors surgery in your area or to a walk-in clinic to see someone?

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 12:08

Wow mclairey that is a long time. Could you pull a sickie at work to make it sooner? (not encouraging sickies but desperate times etc)

Popinda · 19/06/2012 13:40

Ladies can implantation happen without the bleeding? It's just if my little egg got fertilise it should be implanting around now and I have no sign of bleeding whatsoever! Sad

MissMedusa · 19/06/2012 13:56

I believe that in the majority of cases there is no implantation bleeding so I definitely wouldn't take no bleeding as a sign that implantation didn't happen.

DulcetMoans · 19/06/2012 14:13

Yeah, agree with medusa. From my extensive research last night (by extensive I mean all first 5 pages of google hits!) it is more common to not have implantation bleeding. I read a mixture of 20-40% of women get it so it wouldn't be uncommon for you to not see anything.

Pop - are you testing Friday?

Popinda · 19/06/2012 14:36

Thanks. Much happier now! Grin I really shouldn't test till Sunday, but I'm already thinking of testing tomorrow. Just in case! Smile my poas addiction is so out of control! Aaarrr! But I have good excuse why I need to test early and often! We are moving house on Saturday do I need to know if I can carry heavy boxes! Smile I might actually tell my dh that I better not carry anything heavy even if I get bfn, just in case! Grin wonder how long I can milk it for! Grin and poor dh once I actually get pg! Hahaha (evil laugh)

DulcetMoans · 19/06/2012 15:17

If you have the sticks you might as well. haha!! Although, again from my extensive research, it said something about 4-5 days after implantation bleeding so if you are thinking now is the time you might experience the bleeding then you probably wouldn't get anything until the weekend anyway. I will probably do one tomorrow anyway though. haha! My ebay ones arrived so I have enough!! Got a BBQ sunday so need to know if I can drink...!

Popinda · 19/06/2012 15:24

dulcet I'm aware I would get bfn as it is way too early! But you never know! What if I got the dates wrong?! Btw I love the way all of us finding excuses why to poas! GrinGrin

MissMedusa · 19/06/2012 15:31

I will not POAS until I'm at least 10DPO!

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 15:36

I don't know if / when I OV'd, so I'm just PIATH every now and then! I'm on CD29 today, so would think a positive should show by now, but CD27 gave me a BFN :-(

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 19/06/2012 15:37

Aw, see now you make me want to do one when I get home!! What if... just what if...? What if that was implantation bleeding ladies?! I'm almost scared to hope it was!

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 16:01

Right, after days of not getting on with the cheapie line OV sticks I've today brought some clear blue OV sticks. Just did a test and it is a lot easier and less stressful (not in the mood to play anymore guessing games) plus I'll be able to test first thing in the morning so this can stop taking over my day...sometimes it pays :)

QueenOfTheDrama · 19/06/2012 16:04

Hi ladies, still lurking!! Grin Good luck to all of you due to test shortly, will be checking back to see the results!

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 16:27

Queen how's life the other side?

Popinda · 19/06/2012 17:55

dulcet I got lots of what if in my head, that's why I keep testing! Grin
nicola statistically only about 80% get bfp day before af is due! So you were just prob the 20%! What is your 'normal' cycle? You should test again! :-)

Popinda · 19/06/2012 17:56

newbie how many ov sticks you got at home by now! Smile

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 18:07

I hope so, Pop! And to be honest, I've been on hormonal birth control for my entire adult life, less a couple of months twice, so I it used to be 28 days. But I could be wrong! I think I've forgotten 17.5 years ago now :-)

And first month off the pill, who knows?

I don't have time to mess about PIATH on a weekday, so will test on Sat if no ERTD. We have guests for the weekend though, so not ideal timing if it was positive as I'd struggle to keep my trap shut!

Hi newbie things are good thanks, 5+1 now Smile Currently sporting a very fetching bloated belly along with massive boobs. Look about 6mths gone already! Blush

Hope everyone here is well!

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 18:38

Queen nice to hear that it doesn't take long to feel pregnant! When is your scan? Two weeks?

Everyone here is fed up of waiting. We're not a patient bunch Wink

Pop i have so far used 20 Superdrug OV sticks and today I opened up a box of 7 CB...also have a box of 20 CB on the way from Amazon. After that I'll either have a BFP or I'll have to resort to Amazon cheapies :( After my weekend nightmare of guessing if both lines match enough I just wanted to deal with smiley faces for a few days!

I definitely have PMS today. Don't mess with me AF!

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 19:15

Yeah...I think ERTD may be on the way too. Low back ache and a bloaty tummy.

I wouldn't mind not getting a first month jackpot in a way, as it'll give me more chance of fitting into my wedding dress in 4 months' time!
