Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

What is wrong with me? Just brought 20 CB OV sticks because I lack any sort of patience what so ever! Could not wait two weeks like a normal person...I never knew TTC would cost me so much money! I also spent £20 on conception tablets at boots today, it was buy 3 packs get 1 free though!!

redstrawberry · 18/06/2012 21:25

newbie you are not alone in the madness! I already bought the epo and conceive plus! I just hate this waiting period and just want to know!

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 21:28

Yeah...waiting is shit!!

I'm on CD28 with a BFN yesterday, but no sign of ERTD coming either.

If I'm not up duffed, I just want AF now please!

Why does TTC make us all bonkers?

Hi Ladies

Can you give me some advice please? Im on CD 16 now. On CD 10 I had dull ache on my lower abdomen but more to the right side this continued for a couple of days but now im experiencing that pain again. I experienced this for about 3 days last month on CD12 along came with it sore nipples. (sorry TMI). Is it possible to ovulate twice?

Newbie2 · 18/06/2012 21:35

CD 36 for me! Nicola sorry for your BFN yesterday :(

I'm at home tomorrow so I would not be surprised if I wonder off to Wilkos to buy another cheapie £4 test

We've all gone looney for POAS!

Newbie2 · 18/06/2012 21:37

Hi KFF as I understand it you can only ovulate once a month.

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 21:40

I hope I don't get to CD36 without a BFP!! (Sorry, Newbie.)

Though I would have thought I'd be suffering cramps by now if ERTD was on the horizon.

I can't stop PIATH and dunking my cheapie tests...at £2.80 for 15 it's an inexpensive hobby. If rather disappointing! :-/

We really need to give ourselves a good talking to! ;-p

Newbie2 · 18/06/2012 21:52

Oooohhh that's cheap Nicola where did you get them?

OK I've decided I'm not going to test until the weekend when it's DH b'day! Got to give myself small goals to keep going!

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 21:57

Amazon :-) Bargain!

And I keep saying I'm not going to test...then PIATH anyway!

I'm a pain in the arse. The only saving grace is I don't have time during the working week to piss in anything but the loo!

Newbie2 · 18/06/2012 22:05

Well preggie sticks are far more exciting then OV sticks so I don't blame you Wink

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 22:11

Queen sent me some OV tests which I've not really looked at yet. No point at this stage in my cycle.

I will start taking the conception vitamins tomorrow though. Can't hurt, after all :-)

Now officially CD60 Angry Confused Hmm

Have started Vitex. Maclairey only thing to report so far - tastes foul swallow quickly! :o

Good look to all you ladies on various waits before peeing. Envy

Am off to sulk in my corner at my stupidly long cycles.

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 23:23

That's so long, Echo. Have you considered going to your doctor? Or is your wait relatively 'normal' when coming off birth control? What contraceptive were you on?

Fx the Vitex helps ASAP.

OP posts:
EchoDragon · 19/06/2012 07:48

Am holding of the docs. I had an implant. Having read around I should have ovd about 3 weeks after removal of it. I reckon I can wait another two weeks to AF and then i'll worry. Am fairly sure I did ov about ten days ago.

I am taking the CD60 thing with a pinch of salt as irregular bleeds are normal on implant. I'm not even sure I can count it as a period as you don't ov whilst on it.

I will see doc if no AF in 3-4 weeks time. Can't really see them doing much at the mo to help really.

Maclairey · 19/06/2012 08:19

Hi Echo day 59 here for me.

I am definitely contemplating starting the Vitex now as this is just ridiculous.

I was on the combined pill (microgynon and then gederel) for 10 years without a break.

Not sure whether to go to doctors, start taking Vitex or just keep waiting.

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 08:22

So have you had any withdrawal bleed since stopping the implant? I know I barely had any AF for 13 months the first time I came off the injection (after 8 years), not even a pill withdrawal AF.

This time I had the 'fake' pill AF, but not sure when a natural one will happen! CD29 here and no sign of AF!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 08:23

You two are SO patient...I'll be at the Dr after 40 days!

The Vitex can't hurt, surely?

Popinda · 19/06/2012 08:31

I don't want to rub it in or anything as having such a long cycle must be terrible and probably not knowing what is going on is even worst especially when ttc, but when I came off the pill (Yasmin) after almost 10year I had a perfect 30 day cycle first month and ever since! But I stop at the end of the pack not in the middle. Maybe that's why? What I'm trying to say, maybe visiting docs wouldn't be such a bad idea. Smile

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 08:48

Pop I was on Yasmin too but it's CD37 for me :( When I spoke to the doctor last week about my long cycle she said that I could still be ovulating and I should keep using the sticks. She says It's possible that I don't have AF for another month but still ovulate. So now I'm thinking I skipped AF and who knows where I am because I keep running out of stupid sticks!!!!!!

Caved in (surprise surprise) and BFN for me Hmm However, If I did ovulate last weekend then I'm testing way too early! Have brought 25 cheap preggie tests now so that I can guilt free POAS from this weekend!

Popinda · 19/06/2012 08:58

I caved in two days ago and it was bfn as expected, because I was only about 2dpo, but I got over 30 cheap hpt at home, so too can poas guilt free! Also got about 50 cheap ov sticks. Well not so many anymore Grin but still a lot! Grin I also want to buy the pre-seed gel but I just think is waist of money as I'm going to get bfp at the weekend! Grin I already made that decision! Just hope I won't be too disappointed if I get bfn! Well at least I can buy pre-seed gel then! Smile I'm rumbling, am I? Sorry. Blush

Popinda · 19/06/2012 08:59

newbie did you stop mid cycle?

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 09:02

Pop no I finished the pack and then got my usual fake bleed as normal for 6 days as normal. I guess it's just different for some. I was hoping to be like you :(

Maclairey · 19/06/2012 09:07

I also finished my pack.

Newbie2 · 19/06/2012 09:10

Technically as I am on CD36 I have started my next cycle so I should be ovulating soon! My new stupid OV sticks will probably arrive the day after...I will one day be on top of this :)

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 09:11

At least your Dr said you could still be ovulating though, Newbie. But if no AF, is your body preparing for pregnancy with the thickening of womb lining or not? Hmmm....
