Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

Who else is POASOIRA free Wink and who is planning to POASOIRA next? Grin

LisaC2611 · 14/06/2012 14:01

I agree newbie if AF comes this weekend, means I won't have to worry about not having a few drinks on holiday next week. Round 3 of TTC to come for me, but I shall be POAS from day 6 ish (provided I get the sticks delivered in time) Grin

Newbie2 · 14/06/2012 14:05

Lisa Lucky round 3 sounds positive :) have a fab stress free holiday!

EchoDragon · 14/06/2012 15:00

Newbie got Vitex from Amazon.

Maclairey have you started it yet? Not sure if I should wait for AF to start before beginning it.

I am considering PIAC. Been 8 days since last BFN. Don't feel pg. But then would be too early for symptoms anyway.

Now in day 56 and just feel like a I'm in limbo. Don't want to POAS really as however unlikely a BFP is a tiny but of me hopes it will be pos.

Just really fed up TBH.

Maclairey · 14/06/2012 16:06

No not started it yet Echo. I wasn't sure if was safe to take all cycle or if like EPO you need to stop after ovulation.

I was going to wait for AF but if things carry on like this I might change my mind.

I will be poas Saturday. I allow myself one a week at the moment. I know it will be a BFN but being stuck in limbo like this I don't really know what else to do :(

EchoDragon · 14/06/2012 16:54

maclairey completely get where your coming from. Don't know if I should be SWI or not. Think I may have ovd last week. Had lots of mucus dunno if it was EWCM. (Sorry for tmi)

Just fed up. I want AF so I can start a.proper cycle.

Popinda · 14/06/2012 17:21

I feel so sorry for you ladies on long cycles! Sad I dont really know how you can cope!
Now a bit tmi coming, I thought I ov few days ago, but having lots of ewcm now! Or it might be epo! So better dtd tonight, but I'm soo tired of doing it now! It's sound terrible, but because I thought I ov much earlier we dtd almost every day from beginning of the month! And now I'm actually ov I think we going to miss it! SadSad well at least I know for the next month!
Come on ladies roll in the BFPs! Smile

Newbie2 · 14/06/2012 17:23

Mclairey and Echo have you experienced pre cramps yet to make you think it's coming but it never arrives? Sounds like a awful wait to go through Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit

DulcetMoans · 14/06/2012 17:28

Does sound horrible. I would POAS echo, if only to put mind at ease. You are prepared for it to be BFN but at least you will know and can rule it out.

Is it worth a trip to the docs for either of you or is it quite normal to have this wait after the pill?

Saw a lady I used to work with at lunch today, sporting a nice bump. Happy for her but bump envy!

EchoDragon · 14/06/2012 17:55

Oh FFS just POAS it was invalid. Didn't shove it in the cup far enough obviously.

dulcet i'm not sure. AF was due just as implant was out. But I was all over the .place cycle wise on it. Takes about 3 weeks to get hormones out of system. So realistically I think I can expect AF in next two to three weeks. I just feel they will not take me too seriously. IYSWIM.

Will POAS tomorrow with FMU and decide then.

NicolaHazel · 14/06/2012 18:04

Ha ha, Newbie! No sign yet, which has surprised me...maybe tomorrow. Or maybe I'm being led up the garden path by my body! So no, no POASOIRO for me!

I can't imagine how Echo and Maclairey must feel...there must be something to induce AF?!

EchoDragon · 14/06/2012 19:43

OMG just had a major melt down at work. How embarassing on a high note am only this hormonal before AF shows up.

alwyn · 14/06/2012 19:57

I PIARO earlier and got a neg OPK. Now I'm feeling stabby pains in my left side - wtf? Is this a OV pain (have been on some kind of contraceptive for 14 years so have no idea!)?

NicolaHazel · 14/06/2012 20:06

Ah, Alwyn...I've been stabby on left, right and both sides since CD9. CD24 now and looks like I may be heading towards AF. We will see though! :-)

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 14/06/2012 20:07

Should have said...17.5 years on some form of contraception and first post-pill month!

OP posts:
alwyn · 14/06/2012 20:12

Yep, apart from you being further on than me in your cycle we're pretty much at the same point!!

Ah well, we'll see what pans out over the next few weeks!

NicolaHazel · 14/06/2012 20:30

I'm very ho hum at the moment! Just either want to be pregnant or have AF to know my bits are working and to get going on month 2 :-)

Maclairey · 14/06/2012 21:16

God I hate football. That is all.

redstrawberry · 14/06/2012 21:20

You and me both maclairey
It's such a mood kill :/

alwayshopeful13 · 14/06/2012 21:24

Hello all, AF confirmed her presence today (after 2 days of hinting and playing with my emotions - was it implantation bleeding/gradual AF etc etc). So back to square 1. And first 28 day cycle (which used to be normal.....like clockwork) since mc in December 11. I'm guessing the EPO must have had some effect in rebalancing my cycle.

This month and getting AF is a bit of a milestone passing because I would have been due June 29th and always reckoned (naively) we'd definitely be pg again before that date arrived. And close friend who was due 2 weeks before me is now awaiting arrival of her first imminently. I do find that really hard even tho totally thrilled for us obv.

Hey ho. Here's to the next cycle! And lots of vino for me this weekend :-) x

redstrawberry · 14/06/2012 21:29

Sorry about AF always i was late by 3 days last cycle but she still showed up! its horrible trying to guess what your body's doing!

It sucks when your close friends or family are experiencing all the things that you should have been. Just practice your brave face and think abt the positives - an Easter baby will be fab and Spring is a good time of the year! Fx its your time next month

alwayshopeful13 · 14/06/2012 21:42

Thanks strawberry - v wise words. Sorry to hear you had the same roller coaster. Where is that computer that reads mother nature for us?!

Focussing on the positives for sure. And thankfully the usual hormonal emotion surge hasn't landed this month, so I'm feeling much more balanced and optimistic post-AF disappointment than in previous months. And on the friends and family thing - I find allowing for a bit of tactical avoidance (just when I'm feeling v fragile), as well as the brave face, is also a good idea too :-)

Newbie2 · 14/06/2012 23:25

always here is your well deserved glass of virtual wine Wine Hope you enjoy the real thing this weekend...heres to spring babies for all of us :) (apart from the new m2b still popping in to say hello from time to time)

Popinda · 15/06/2012 06:58

always it's a bummer about arrival of af, but at least you can start fresh this cycle. Fx for bfp for you (and everyone else) next month!
Also just to say, that cheep ov sticks from internet are brilliant and work! 50 under £8! Money well spent as now I know that I'm ov much later in my cycle (cd19) than I thought! I have been using them from about cd6, just in case I on early and as the month gone on was worried I don't even ov! But I do! It is such a nice feeling to know your bits are working! Smile so even if I dong get of this cycle I'm def recommending them to everyone else!

Popinda · 15/06/2012 07:00
