Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

I am so over long cycles! maclairey maybe we could be cycle buddies. Cd53 and counting.

Although AF could well be due. As I seem to have a v bad case of PMT. Poor DH doesn't know what to do. I am going from super birch to crying over nothing to fine all in ten minutes. Not helped by having to cook dinner as England are playing. Grrr bloomin football.

AF better show up or my marriage may not last long enough for us to be TTC next month. Might try some of that EPO too.

is it possible for ov stick not to catch my ov?

Aw, sorry about that newbie. At least you won't be wondering for now. The sooner she comes the sooner you can try again!

Hello ladies. Thanks for your concern. I went straight to bed after doing the test doubled up in pain. Just woke up and was very ill. I will spare you the details! Anyway, cramps have died down TG and it looks like I had food poisoning! Unusual for my body to take 24hrs to reject whatever it was but it was definite food poisoning so that clears that all up :) I'm just pleased cramps have died down!!

I'm on cd20 and have been having lots of strange tummy pains. Af is due next Tuesday but we will be in Spain so hoping she wont turn up and that this is our month, but highly unlikely to be as it is only our 2nd cycle of ttc. Fx that it happens soon.

How's everyone else doing? I saw that this has been quite a fertile thread do fx for the rest of us.

CD 22 here, but first month off the pill and getting loads of aches and pains. No idea when AF will strike though!

Hi lisa least your holiday might distract you from symptom spotting. We all seem to be POAS mad round here be warned.

We have had quite a few BFPs so far. Fx for more.

I'm on cd54 of first cycle I think. Stopped contraception mid cycle. Am hoping AF is on her way as currently have PMT from bell alternating between uber bitch and sobbing wreck. DH is very confused and tiptoes round trying to work out which way I'll swing next.

I think all of us are closet MN addicts. Helps us retain a tiny moment of sanity as we TTC.

We've been contraception free for about 2 and a half years, although using condoms until we started ttc. Never thought I would become so obsessive about it. Promised dh that we would not try to not get pg if that makes sense but since the 1st time all I've thought about is getting pg. think I'm driving him mad already!!

I saw the poas party over the weekend. I haven't got any sticks so for the time being I am going to just buy them if we think we need it.

Might invest in opk if Af comes next week to see when ov occurs

Hope Af comes soon for u echo. My dh always knows when I'm due as I get very tearful. Poor guys they don't know what's hit them half the time

lisa welcome back! I'm exactly like you! I'm off contraception for about 9 months, we were using condoms up until last month! This is our second cycle of ttc. Promised myself I won't get obsess with trying to get pg! But it almost impossible! I spent about 90% of my awake time thinking what else I can do to speed up conception, I pee on the ov stick twice a day as I'm trying to pin point my ov, bit worried now as I'm on cd16 and the ov stick is saying I haven't ov yet! Even I do have my usual ov pains. I hope I get pg soon as I don't think I can keep up all that dtd for much longer! So tiring! thanks for this thread and you lovely ladies as you keep my sanity!

dragon I hope af arrives! I don't know anyone with such a long cycle! Have you done hpt?

I also spend most of the time I'm awake thinking about it and also had a few strange dreams about it! Most of my time seems to be fluctuating between am I pg and is that a symptom or am I infertile and are we going to need ivf! I think my age concerns me more than anything else as I got told a few years ago by a gynae that once you hit 36 your fertility takes a dip and I turned 36 in April

Oh well, if we sling enough baby dust around, hopefully someone will catch the bug soon.

lisa as I said I feel exactly the same!! Especially about the infertility issue! I know im being unreasonable as its only our second cycle of tct, but I wonder why I'm not pg yet? Especially now when my ov sticks try to tell me I'm not ov! I'm trying to be positive and keep telling myself I'm just testing wrong time of the day!

Aarrrr! What's going on? Another friend is pregnant!!!!! I'm happy for her, don't get me wrong, but I'm also and that its not me!

All my friends seem to have had their families I'm the last one ttc. However there are 3 women pregnant in the department I work in, without all the others I keeper ting on the lift

I did say to dh at the weekend that I'm being tested as everywhere I look someone is pregnant or pushing a baby and I want it to be me

We had a pregnancy announcement this morning at work as well. Not someone I know very well but will see them around.

I tried to POAS this morning but it went wrong I think. No line in the control window which the little bit of paper says means it did not work. Such an anticlimax! Not sure what I did wrong either. Oh well, try again tomorrow maybe. Just getting hopes up that ovaries on fire is a sign from my body, but I think I know it probably isn't!

Thanks ladies. I'm still recovering as was up many times in the night but the killer cramps have gone. Just taking it easy today with water and toast. I am seriously relieved that the worst is over and I will not be making homemade sausage rolls again in a hurry!! Made me realise how I need to be extra careful about double checking food is cooked thoroughly in the coming months! Normally very good about it but I guess my mind was elsewhere in TTC land on Sunday!

No sign of AF but I don't blame her :) CD30 for me and suspect I have a few more days to go.

Pop - Do you think maybe you started the OV sticks too late in your cycle? According to my Period Diary App I started using them 3 days too late as I had already Ov'd. I didn't realise that you count a withdrawal bleed as day 1 of your cycle...doh! I so know how you feel about another friend being pregnant...like me you probably feel a mix of feelings...over the moon for her, frustrated that its not you and angry that you feel that way about your friend! Don't be too hard on yourself though as she probably was the same about someone else when she was TTC...unless it was a happy accident.

Newbie sorry to hear you have been poorly that's definitely not good. Glad you are feeling better though.

I agree, I feel very envious of pregnant people. I can't help it even though it's ridiculous as I am only on cycle 1 but I keep thinking there must be something wrong with my woman's bits. Especially after this really long never ending cycle :(

Maclairey Uh I know, it's so easy to start thinking something is wrong with our bits isn't it!! Just look at me, I had chronic food poisoning and I was convinced it was my womb stretching lol

Forgot to say ladies that I came across this Fertility map yesterday. Thought it was quite useful. I don't know if these things are accurate though because like we've been saying everyone is so different.
