It's been 12 cycles TTCing since my mc now. I got pg with DD after 3, and pg last year after 4. Have had the day 1 and 21 tests and DH has had semen analysis. All normal. Still not pg.

It should be happening but it's not. Anyone else? Could there be something else wrong? Something else we could do? Or is it just a matter of waiting and trying?

yes me....we have unexplainned..been ttc 4 years but only plucked up courage to go to docs after ctwo years. everything is fine with both of us but unfortunately we have to now head down the ivf route. Do you use ovulating sticks??? fingers crossed for you and sorry about mc xx

Yes, we are unexplained. I've never had a positive pregnancy test. The only thing that has come back abnormal were private tests for NK cells, but I have had treatment for those for the past 6 cycles.

We are now on cycle 20, with 3 cycles of Letrozole and 2 cycles of IUI behind us and are about to reluctantly start IVF. I can't quite get my head around needing treatment when on paper we should be fertile.

this is the same as me...what is ivi??? We are waiting to here now from the clinic what options we have...ivf or ivi.

I didn't realise that this is what's called 'unexplained infertility'. Hmm. Have also been reading the NICE guidelines and see they could / should have referred me to see if my Fallopian tubes were blocked, but they didn't. We won't get IVF as already have DD, but DH was not very happy about potentially being referred last time so not sure I will bring it up. It's very frustrating, isn't it? Every month I still have a bit of hope but it's less and less really. Yes, am doing ov sticks and charting and have cycles like clockwork, ovulate the same day each cycle. Am ditching it for this month and having a break.

IUI = intrauterine insemination. Basically, they take your partner's sample, select the best sperm, put them in a carrier liquid and put it directly into the womb.
