Anyone tried Reflexology for baby number 2? (or more)

I am curious to know if anyone has tried reflexology to conceive. The reason I said baby number 2, 3, 4 etc (whatever number people are up to!) is because from my own personal opinion No2 doesn't seem to be turning up because I am bf No1 and therefore no AF :(

I read a sign in the local Beauticians yesterday about them offering such a service and am wondering whether to go and investigate further.

Slightly off the original question but I have just started going to see a reflexologist who specialises in fertility and maternity reflexology. I am ttc #1 but know a couple of friends of friends who have had successful results with reflexology when ttc.

The lady i am seeing did a free pre-consultation over the phone to answer any questions. I would look in your local area if there are any practices offering a more targeted approach for ttc. I would say it is worth investigating as I found it fascinating what she could tell from just my feet.

Good luck Sweetie I hope you are successful :)

I contacted the Reflexologist advertised in the beauticians and she says it takes about 6-8 sessions and £35 per session so not cheap!

I am booked on a course of baby reflexology next week (with DD) and so am going to ask the Teacher then too. It definitely sounds worth investigating though and as you say is very interesting what they can tell from feet! :)

I was TTC #2 for a year with nothing, then started reflexology and have been pregnant three times in the last twelve months. Sadly all have ended in MC but I really believe the reflexology ironed out the kinks and helped me to conceive. Good luck! My AF came back as soon as my daughter started weaning at six months and I BFed until she was one.

I have a friend who does reflexology and she's coming over tomorrow to have a chat (and possibly a treatment).

I had reflexology to try and induce labour with 2 of my DCs. The first time it was in a beauticians and nothing more than a foot massage. It didn't work.

The second time it was with a lady who has practised for 20 years. She told me my uterus wasn't ready but would work on the area to relax it and expect my baby to appear in 7 days. Now it may be a complete coincidence but 7 days later he came.

I was completely fascinated by the whole thing. It really quite hurt in certain places; areas that she said were hormonal and she could also tell that I had problems years ago with my right knee! I'm a sucker for stuff like this anyway but my point is I wouldn't bother with a beautician for it, find a proper reflexologist.

Good luck!

Interesting there are a few people who have tried it.

I went to see the Reflexologist today and have my first appointment booked for next week, she "reckons" she can get your periods to start.

We shall see ;)

Hi, I as considering having some reflexology as ttc%232 for almost a year now with MMC mid way...
Have heard that seeing the doc will probably be fruitless (as already have DD) , so thought this might be worthwhile. Any experience anyone? TIA.
