TTC on day 18, day after suspected peak. Short opaque strings present today. It's too soon for a first response POAS so I thought I'd ask if anyone else had experienced symptoms at this point?

Do you mean you think you ovulated on day 18 and it is now day 20 and you are getting symptoms? Also when you say peak do you mean the lh surge?

Either way my experience was no pregnancy symptoms at all till at least one week after missed period. (you could still be pregnant though I just think it is too early for symptoms Smile
