When did I ovulate? advice on chart wanted

Hello everyone,

Please can you look at my chart and tell me when you think I ovulated. FF is putting it on day 15, the day I had a positive OPK. BUT if I remove the positive OPK from my chart then it moves ovulation to day 17.

Either way I think we dtd around the right times but would like to pinpoint ovulation. If I don't get my bfp this month then i know how long my LP was (trying to increse my short LP with B6).

Hmmm, it could be either. The dip on CD17 looks quite big so FF probably thinks it's a pre-O dip. I would leave the OPK result in if you are confident that it was positive, as the more info FF has the more accurate (supposedly) is its pinpointing of the O date. Did you take any of those temps earlier or later than usual?

Was CD 15 the only day you used OPK? FF is not infallible (doesn't pretend to be either), perhaps the positive was just at the start of the LH surge? Seems fairly sure you ov between CD15-17, so all's well :)

Squirrel - My temps were all taken within a 15 minute window. I know i should do it at exactly the same time but sometimes i set my alarm 15 minutes later for that little bit extra sleep

leBFG - yes i only used the OPK once, I havent been able to get a positive at all when i have tried them before but something made me do one on that day and bingo my first positive. I read that once you get a positive there is no need to keep pos so i didn't.

I would say you ovulated on day 17. I struggle with OPKs too, especially CBD ones. I get a few days of positives on the internet cheap sticks, sometimes 3 days in a row. I have learnt to do the tests when I get in from work, and only when I really need to pee to make the hormone as strong as possible.

I always continue until I get a negative. A significant thermal shift usually kicks in around the same time too.
