Period after early mc

Hi

I have had an early mc at 5 wks. Now I am 6 days late for my first AF post mc, but cheap pg tests say bfn (don't know if the fact they are cheap makes a difference?!)

Had anyone had any experience of this? How long after a miscarriage did your period show up?

Mine took about 6 weeks after my MC. Your body is overrun with hormones at the moment, it will take a few weeks to settle down.
It's hard to go through a MC, please feel free to ask for help if you need it.

Thanks very much. I feel ok now, I was not far along and have had a mmc at 11 wks before so felt more prepared this time. I just feel ready to try again and want my period (feels odd saying that!)
