Hello, this would be my 3rd. I took a test last Fri (day before AF due) and got a faint +ve. Was due to see GP this morning and had a wobble and took another test (actually two), the First Response was still +ve but very faint (possibly fainter than original test 6 days ago) and the CB Digi said 1-2 weeks when it should have said 2-3 weeks. I'm at 19dpo today and surely should be seeing big fat positives by now? Certain of dates because I temped and use CBFM. Obviously my worry is that HCG levels are not rising and this pregnancy isn't viable. I've cancelled GP appointment because I'm fearing the worst. Feel in awful limbo now. What shall I do? I guess I've no choice but to sit at out and test again in a few days.

aw hey mummypirate. It is hard to know, really the best thing would be to go and see your GP! Do you have any cramps or spotting or anything that would suggest something was amiss?

I hope you are ok and am sure the HCG is just taking its time :) good luck :)

Thanks for responding - I really wish I hadn't done that 2nd batch of tests! I just couldn't see point of seeing dr if I was in any doubt. I've actually felt very sick for a good week now - and continue to today - I got really early MS with both children, so that's a positive...

and should also say, no spotting or cramps, just the absence of a big fat pink line

Am sure it is ok, but good idea to do a test in a couple of days, another first response to compare and go to the gp if you are worried. Hope it is ok, sure it is :)

Glad you booked apPointment. Here's hoping you have a little sticky. If things go not so well you need them to start investigating you. Keep positive as much as you can and good luck

Meant to say I am in limbo too

Did you use FMU for the CB digi- if not the conception indicator is less likely to be accurate. Plus it's not 100% accurate on weeks anyway.

In the absence of pain or bleeding I'd stay positive and maybe see if your GP will do blood HCG levels.

mummmypirate · 25/05/2012 06:46

Thanks lovely mnetters, did another FRER with FMU today and test is practically negative - tinyist hint of a line - but barely there. Strangely feel almost relieved, at least I have more certainty and hopefully I'll start bleeding soon.
