How long will consultant say to wait to ttc after preeclampsia?

Hi, not sure where to post this..... My baby girl died at 6 days old a month ago. There were lots of complications, and it was a hard pregnancy, with lots of worry. We miss our beautiful girl deeply, and always will, we know another baby will not change that and we wouldn't want it to really. Merryn will always be our first daughter.
My dp and I would like to try again in a few months, and I have a meeting with our consultant in a week where this will no doubt be raised, I'm 39 now so time is getting on for us....
Part of the problem in the pregnancy was I got severe preeclampsia at 32 weeks, and had to have emergency csection.... Does anyone know specifically what the advice is on how long to wait to ttc after preeclampsia.... I haven't got anywhere with dr google....
I already post on the ttc after loss thread, but I would really appreciate if anyone knows about this... Thanks ladies.

I think this is something you'll have to ask your consultant. There is a risk of preeclampsia, more so because you've had it before, but that, as you know, doesn't mean you can't have a full term, uncomplicated pregnancy.

As for timing, ask your consultant. Really. I don't think anything a random Internet stranger might tell you will be useful. Confusing maybe, but not useful.

Sorry about it all. Merryn is a lovely name.
