Hi, I'm Bathilda and although I've been registered for years on mumsnet I've rarely been brave enough to post so please be gentle with me!
My husband and I have just started ttc baby number 4. We have 3 little boys and would be thrilled with either a baby brother or sister for them. I'm still breastfeeding DS3 so my cycles are still a bit unpredictable. I used an OPK this month and think I ovulated on CD13 but missed my surge because the OPK was almost positive but not quite on CD12 and definitely negative on CD13.
I'm 35 now and have been very alarmed by all the articles stating how difficult I will find it to get pregnant now I'm in the 'over 35' camp. I expected to feel old when I'm 40, not 5 years early! This will definitely (can't imagine persuading DH to go for number 5!) be my last time ttc so I'm going to try not to stress and enjoy the ride.
