When trying to fall pregnant with DD it took over 2 years to get pregnant. Me and OH have decided we're ready to try for another baby and i'm worried its going to take the same time. Any tips on staying relaxed through the trying stage, every month when its that time of month, i can feel myself fill with hope. OH is DD's stepdad so sometimes think that maybe this time it'll be quicker (as not with the same man). But then i'm older now, it was 7 years ago that i fell pregnant the first time. So then go back to thinking that its going to be the same time or longer this time.

Thought I should drop in on another purple! Wishing you luck. Perhaps he is right and it was male factor last time (but I'm guessing from your message that you don't know that for a fact right?). The fact that you have had one child, even if 7 years ago is a good thing and you should take heart in that.

Staying relaxed, well now there is a thing. Try a strike a balance, decide on what monitoring, if any, you want to do. Decide what you feel about timing sex or being regular though out your cycle and what works best for you and him. Be educated about your cycle but try not to go crazy over it. don't fall into the trap of symptom spotting and early testing. Sorry, general and obvious?
