Homeopathy??

Hi
I'm on Clomid and have started seeing an acupuncturist which I'm enjoying but she has suggested homeopathy and I just had a chat with the homeopathist and I think maybe that's going a step too far...

I don't know if I believe in the acupuncture but it's relaxing and I feel loads more informed so that's great in itself, but the homeopathist wants to do an asyra test which does some sort of electrode scan of your internal system to see what's wrong...

She has also recommended that I take Bio-Kult daily which you have to insert.... up there. Apparently the pill strips you of natural bacteria and this is like a very strong Yakult and helps with mucus etc

Is this going too far? I felt a bit like I ought to book but am very tempted to cancel as it just seems daft. We've been trying for 2 and a half years and so I am getting desperate but still....

Also, my acupuncturist was horried when I said I'd had 2 beers at the weekend when in fact I got hammered! I may be trying for a baby but I still need to have fun!

Would love your thoughts please

Homeopathy is nothing more than a placebo, and the contraceptive pill is not an antibiotic. What a shower of confolk.

that's was I thinking. Surely no-one would ever be put on the pill, let alone left on it for 15 years, if it stopped you getting pregnant!

I've tried acupuncture and felt that it did something. I wouldn't consider homeopathy. I can't see any logical reason why it would help.

The Pill does something "up there" though. I've had thrush twice. I've been on the Pill only for two short periods in my life. They coincided. But if you've been off it for a while, your "natural balance" should have been restored.

Er, well, the point of the pill is to stop you getting pregnant, but I see what you mean! Grin

I know everyone is different, but I got pregnant within a couple of weeks of stopping taking it, and that was about 26 years ago, when hormone doses were higher than today.

Grin OldLady!
Good, cancelling that then
felt a bit bullied into it a bit if I'm honest

I much prefer the stories where people say they had a blowout and got pregnant!
