Due on today and done a Clearblue test. It was BFN. My friend recently did 2-3 CB tests which were negative even after a week without her period. She did a digital one and its positive. Shall I try a different test or just wait some more?

Well I have been having bad stomach cramps/backaches since saturday so I have made a GP appointment. Its so hard to get a GP appointment so I have to wait til wednesday:( I did another urine test at the sexual health clinic today nut got a BFN. The irony is if I can't take the stomach cramps and backache how on earth could I manage the birth. I probably am not pregnant because im sure it would have come up on the urine test but the nurse assured me today that sometimes it does not come up on urine tests. If i do a blood test and its negative im going to be super relaxed about ttc because its doing my head in. If it happens it happens but its hard when you see little babies everywhere you just get broody. :)

Good luck KFF. I hear you about this super relaxed business -- in fact I think I will have a MN-free day tomorrow, get lots of work done, and try to be a lot less obsessed by the idea of BABIES. Will be interested to hear how it goes on Wed though.

WeatherWitch · 21/05/2012 22:03

I'm with you both on the relaxing vs obsessing - and am working late tomorrow so will be MN-free as well, and WILL NOT start reading stuff when I get home at 1am. I will not. I will not... Look forward to hearing updates on Wed though - fingers crossed for you KF.

Still actually obsessing. My periods are weird nowadays.

KFF?

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 23/05/2012 21:32

Still no period. BFN this morning...I'm going insane!! Think I might wear white linen trousers tomorrow to try and goad it. Would obv prefer a BFP but am starting to believe the many HPTs I've taken.

How are you all?

Thanks ladie s for your support. I agree very frustrating. I went docs today but she was very unhelpful. Just thought my stomach cramps were due to not having a proper period this month. Worse things all my cycle dates are out the window so I have no idea when I should be ovulating or expecting a period.

Icompletely... how many days are you late? maybe the baby making stress has delayed AF.

KFFOREVER · 23/05/2012 23:04

Sorry Icompletely... just read your original post. Baby brain? Is that another symptom I have :o . Are your cycles pretty regular?

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 24/05/2012 09:22

KFF WELL (and it's a big well) ... I have always had irregular periods and sometimes nothing for months then bleeding for a month at a time (tmi?). That is until this year. From the start of the year I have been 28-30 days. Was starting to think I'd got this menstruating cracked!! Because of my irregularity in the past I'm thinking that it's just my periods being weird again, but it is strange that I've had a few months of a proper cycle to randomly go to this again. Confused

If we weren't TTC I wouldn't mind but not having regular periods now would make it really difficult to know when I'm ovulating and when to test.

Damn - period arrived Tues. Although given the way that work suddenly exploded this week, that was almost a relief - yes, I want a baby but a small niggling bit of me keeps on remembering that I love my career too and the two aren't hugely compatible! Oh well, seeing DH again in August, will try again then... Going to be philosophical about this, if it's meant to be then it'll happen.

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 27/05/2012 17:39

Sorry to hear your period started WeatherWitch but well done on the very practical and positive attitude. It's great that you love your job so much. I'm sure it will happen when it's right.
