How much did you bleed afterwards?

I had mine on monday - all clear and good result yippee!

However, tuesday I had period type cramp and started bleeding just like a period and am still bleeding now, just like a period.

Had test on CD16 as BH messed up having done week before.

I suppose my question is, could this be a period (they have been this short before) or normal HSG bleed??

Thanks for any replies - as usual Dr Google doesn't really help!!!

Hi. I had a HSG in March but did not bleed very heavily. I had some minimal spotting that last a few hours really. The cramping is normal though.

You should have had a number to call in case of anything out of the ordinary. I would give them a call just in case of infection and to put your mind at ease.

Well I was going to reply none until I read all your post. Had mine this morning, and had a tiny bit of blood at one wipe but nothing else so far. (Although ironically if anything I'm a bit sorer now than I was first thing). They didn't tell me to expect anything more than a drop though, and like Mooley says I think I'd be calling them. I suppose it's possible the test brought on an early period, but not something I'd want to guess at.

Hi, I bled tons (for several days) after HSG, think was on day 6 and by day 11 it had just about stopped but I still didn't wear white pants iykwim!
I bled for 10 weeks after birth of my DD tho' so may just be abnormally bleedy?
Good luck and hope it works (am in middle of v long 2ww after mine- missed key days in the month straight after). Can already feel changes in body from HSG including good EWCM. If we win #2 then when it comes to #3 I am requesting an HSG straightaway. Clearly I seem to respond to the nuclear option!(fingers crossed!)
