Spotting, Cycle day 1 ?

Hello ladies

Grateful for some advice please. AF is due today but yesterday, I noticed some brown streaks after wiping, on and off all day.

Now what counts as Cycle day 1, is it when I see any spot of brown, pink or red discharge or when AF arrives fully with her whole family in tow ?

CD1=first day of proper bleeding, not spotting.
