Dear All

On the back of everything else recently I have finally been prescribed 2 course of Provera/Clomid. I would enjoy your company on this journey to see if DP and I can get pregnant this way. If not, it's IVF.

So, I'm into my first course. Today is day 4 of the Provera, last day tomorrow. Not sure how long before I get a withdrawal bleed, then it's Clomid on days 2 to 6.

If anyone has done the same course, i'd love to know your results, good and bad. Any advice/pointers greatfully received.

What is Provera? I am starting my first course of Clomid this evening, popped x 2 50mg tablets 2 minutes ago in fact. Good luck!

beckyif, good luck, sorry i cant offer no help, it was a very very very long time since i was on clomid, but what i do rmeember is have hot flushes mid cycle..

anyway, good luck,
by the way, why ivf and not iui if this doesnt work?.

Yes, the Provera is to make me bleed. i will start the Clomid the 2nd day of the bleed.

We were told initially that we will have to have ICSI but now they want to try IUI.

All that aside, we are praying that the Clomid works!

hi BeckiF good luck, can i ask have you been referd to fertilty clinic, and if so how long did you wait?, sorry for asking as i have been referd and dont know how long i will be waiting

Hi trace2, yes we were referred and only had to wait 11 months. That was about 3 years ago.

Today is the second day since i stopped taking the progesterone and still no bleed. I am SO impatient as I want to start the Clomid but can't until day 2 of a bleed! Where is it?! I think if it gets to Wednesday and still nothing, that I should speak to my gynae doc. Unless anyone can help with how long it takes to get a withdrawal bleed?

Update! Today I started a bleed. I was expecting the usual spotting first, but I've gone straight into a heavy bleed. This means that I can start the Clomid tomorrow, it being day 2 of a bleed.

Today is the 2nd day of Clomid. My bleed was lighter than expected and is almost over today, day three.

Hi ... well the only thing that I've noticed are hot flushes. I'm currently CD11 and according to Fertility Friend I'm 3DPO which I don't beleive! LOL! Still waiting for a temp dip. So, it's all a waiting game, but then isn't it always??

Well today is CD20. I possibly ovulated on Friday, but am waiting for confirmation on FF with the temp rise. However, today I have what can be best described as sore/hot/tender nipples ... OR am i imagining it?! Can anyone give advice? I would be 3DPO.
