What happened last month?

Last month I got my smiley on cd16 but then I didn't get AF till 19 days later. my period tracker app has put my OV last month at cd 22. Which do I believe?

The smiley picks up the LH surge and you can ovulate between 12 and 36 (is it 36?) hours later...

I have once picked up a smiley in two days running - so assume that my ovulation could have taken place about 2 -3 days later than the smiley picked up the surge?

The trouble with the LH surge is that it can last from 3 hours until a couple days.

That said, I wouldn't necessarily follow the thing that allows for no body error. The machine that chucks in a calculation and tells you that your body WILL do this because a calculation says so...

I tested again 24 hours later and no smiley...
