FF chart puts OV at CD21 but I got a -ve OPK on that day and the previous 5 days.

I got a lovely strong +ve OPK 24 hours later on CD22.

EWCM on CD20, 21 and 22.

When did OV happen? I think it was overnight of CD22 but that's when I want it to have happened so I'm biased!

I think I read on peeonastick.com that if the chart and OPK disagree then you should believe the OPK. What do you reckon?

I believed the OPK rather than my chart - was charting for 6 months until bought OPKs - first month I used them rather than just chart I got pregnant! Just my experience tho - someone with more knowledge might be along soon :) good luck!!

Can you link to your chart? And how strict are you about taking your temps at the same time before you get out of bed etc?

I would be inclined to believe the opks though.

eurochick · 11/05/2012 20:05

I'd say you oved on CD22.

RightUpMyRue · 11/05/2012 20:07

Relatively good about time, not perfect but OK. I'll have a go at chart linkage- don't know how though so bear with me...

Is that my chart or just FF?

It's my chart Smile

DP was away on CD 19, 20, 21 and 22 so I'm really hoping I OVed late on CD22 or early CD23 because that's when DP got home. Pleeeeease let it have happened like that Smile

Rue I was temping and OPKing and my temps were all over the place even after post O (and I know I O'd cos I'm up the duff) - I'd be more inclined to believe sticks :)

tedmundo · 11/05/2012 21:16

I would also trust the opk test as there is hardly any room for error.

If you got Lh surge on way up then it was most likely cd23 that you ovulated. If it was on the way down, then possibly late cd22 or overnight between cd22 and 23.

I actually think you may have got away with it. :)

Excellent replies, all of you Smile

I was really gutted when I thought we'd definitely miss the egg this cycle so it's really cheered me up that we probably caught it. Whether or not it turns into a baby I'm still pleased, obviously not as pleased! but still pleased none the less Smile

I'd go with the OPK.
You can't get a positive OPK without the LH but you can get a temp rise for a number of reasons. EWCM sounds right too.

lastboxoftampons · 13/05/2012 00:43

I agree with Pip and others.

I forget how to link to a chart - there's some involved process. When I click on your link, it takes me to my chart Smile

RightUpMyRue · 13/05/2012 13:05

Oh, that's interesting lastbox, I didn't know it would do that Smile

To post your chart click sharing at the top of the page then under charting homepage you should see setup. Click that and it'll take you to a new page.
There you will see 'your charting homepage address'. Under that is a URL. Copy and paste that for people to see your chart.

RightUpMyRue · 13/05/2012 14:08

I'll try that now Smile

Is this it?

That's it.
