My husband and I know that realistically speaking, the only thing that will tell if we are pregnant is a positive pregnancy test.

But, there are these small things that I would love to clarify:

  1. I think I had ovulation spotting. It was too early to be implantation and around the time I should have ovulated.
  2. We humped. Like rabbits.
  3. Shortly after ovulation, I started being incredibly thirsty. I can't explain why - I know it can't be pregnancy. I needed the loo more - a chicken and egg situation. Why was I thirsty? Because I was urinating a lot. Why was I urinating? Because I wanted liquids.
  4. I can't have enough fruit juice and fruit and chilled drinks. It's calmed a bit now (10 dpo) but I have been gobbling about 5L of liquids - 3 of those is my typical water intake.
  5. I have broken out in acne on my chest and back. That could be anything.
  6. I spent a week with a very scratchy throat and stuffy nose - just after ovulation
  7. I am tired. I mean - I get about 7 hours of sleep a night, but its' not enough. I have gone from typically being an insomniac to being a dead sleeper for 12 hours a night
  8. I am so tired that my glasses feel as though they have weakened. Everything is blurry. It started this way about 6days ago
  9. I feel constipated and am eating apples and fibre to try be regular again
10. I have a lot of vaginal discharge. I mean - I keep thinking I am coming on so I am wearing a pad. It's kind of thick, milky and started about 7dpo. 11. Last night, during the romp in the sack, my husband said there was a lot of cervical fluid but he said I was very engorged and swollen. He battled to...ahem...get in. And when he did, I was done within a minute. He said it felt very tight - he had never felt it like that.

So - what could it be? Discharge is not a funny colour, there is no itching or burning, no burning when I go to the loo (which I do a few times a night).

I am still early days but yet, all these things are here and I shouldn't be experiencing anything?

When I get hot, I get nauseous and tingly.

Confused dot com

Any advice? Apart from wait?

Hi just saw you on the 2ww thread. I've experienced the following when pg:

  1. Sore throat and stuffy nose - can't remember with my first 2DC but when fell pg in january I had a terrible 'cold' that lasted only 1 day right at the point that implantation would have taken place.
  1. Constipation. Yup had this.

10 & 11 also.

The only thing I remember from my 2DC was extreme dizzyness / fainting but I think this started a bit after BFP.

Not very up on all this but if you're 10 dpo I think you should be able to test soon, if not now maybe?? Goodluck & let us know how you get on!

Helloooo countrykitty and thanks for the reply

I think 10 and 11 are the ones that are confusing me the most.

I read that your CM is supposed to dry up after ovulation as a sign of AF and PMS.

So it's just a strange side effect that neither my DH or I have ever experienced.

Even more with 11.

Have you experienced that as a result of PMS / AF?

Hi, We keep cross posting on opposite threads! Yes I've had these symptoms but only with BFP's! Never get increased CM when AF's on her way. When pg I'm always a bit engorged down there and (TMI) lady bits go quite dark! (I'm very pale skinned).

Definite increase in fluids and that. I am all hopeful again. Its a rollercoaster!!
