hiya chapsmum (((hugs))) thanks so much for posting .

No as yet haven't been to GP's as DH feeling very guilty as he's convinced that the problem is his, (he commutes from Swindon to London every day and is constantly tired so is convinced that this has brought his sperm count down to nothing), also last time we conceived DS we were told DS potentially had low sperm count but this was only tested once and doctor had said a number of things could affect sperm, longhall travel etc, and we had been to australia just three months previous, and then we conceived DS that month so no further investigations were done.

I am always open to suggestions though, so feel free to suggest away .

TBH this morning I am very confused, yesterday I did start bleeding, very lightly, and although this morning there is still a little bit of blood, there is none on the sanetary towel (sorry if TMI) just a bit when wiping. And I am still very simptomatic. Usually I do get sore boobs before AF, but these usually subside about a day before AF arrives. But this time they are still very sore, and I am very very tired. I daren't hope that this could be implantation bleeding, and am still very open to the thought that this is AF, but if not bleeding more heavily by tonight I might do a test to rule it out. Had quite heavy bleed when pg with DS, only for a day but at time of AF due date, and actually thought it was AF and so didn't realize I was pg for another two weeks when I fainted at work and intuintion told me to do a test. Remember DH saying "I'm not paying another bloody 8 quid for a test that's going to be negative". And it was positive.

Anyway I digress now

Thanks so much for posting

I have everything crossed for you. It sounds like there is hope tbh, as that is a rather suspicious af.
What do you do next? Are you going to test again?

chapsmum · 15/02/2006 09:29

If you want to put your mind at rest please do so and test.
In the first few weeks there is very little than can be don to stop the bleeding even if the test is positive....

Although if the bleeding has stopped maybe your right and it implantation. or early spotting.

eight quid, thats sooo expensive, I'm sure I have a fair few ones I could send you.

AAnyway firstly ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))
Seoncdly make an appt with your GP and ask for a 21 day blood prgesterone test to check that your ovultaing, then if you are there is a load of things your hubby can do to increase his sperm count from what he wears to what he eats...

Really felt for you when I read your post, My bf is going throught the same thing at the moment.

once again (((((hugs)))))))))))
luck and good vibes

wuzzlefraggle · 15/02/2006 10:47

wannabe...((hugs)) i have everything crossed for you...
xxxxx

wannaBe1974 · 15/02/2006 17:26

Hiya again (((hugs)))

Well, bleeding has stopped totally now, never was heavy, just spotting really and now is non existant. Still have sore boobs, am extremely tired and feeling really nausious, although nausia could be down to the chocolate cake I ate at lunchtime, or perhaps Mil's visit ... oops lol.

Anyway have spoken to DH and he thinks we should wait until Saturday to do a test if no serious AF arrives, part of me just wants to test and know one way or the other, but part of me thinks he's right. HAve one test left in the cupboard from last month when was 4 days late so did a number of tests then, so it will be hard to resist the temptation to test. If I'd had to make the conscious effort to go out and buy a test then it would be different but as the test is there ...

Wuzzle many congrats on your BFP

(((hugs)))) xxx

chapsmum · 15/02/2006 17:36

Wannabe I have everything crossed that you get your bfp.
Why doent you just test?
If you have had no bleeding by sat imagine how dissapointed you would be if it was neg after all that build up!
And lets face it if you do start bleeding again you'll test anyway...
Sounds proimising though....
Did you get my CAT? could send you some tests if you want I have a few (sensitive ones) spare! DH woulds never have to know!!
(((((((((hugs)))))))))
and good luck...
keep me posted!

wannaBe1974 · 22/02/2006 17:08

lol chaps I've been meaning to email too but am useless.

AF finally arrived last thursday night, at least that cleared up that question, saw GP yesterday and she's told me to have day 21 blood test and day 3 blood test to see if I'm ovulating, also doing full blood count including thyroid function. Had overactive thyroid 12 years ago and although it hasn't recurred to date she did say they would check.

So let's just see what happens.

Thanks for taking such an interest x
