Having sex every other or every third day throughout your cycle is enough really assuming no fertility issues but if you really want to time it to be more specific, it's worth looking at your individual cycle and the signs your body shows that you're approaching ovulation.

I hear the fertility friend website is excellent and I cannot recommend enough Toni Weschler's book 'Taking Charge Of Your Fertility'.

You'll find that things like your temp, cervical mucous, libido etc all add up to a good indication of what your cycle is like. And you discover all sorts of weird things. Like I always have hiccups on the day I ovulate (never have them at any other time).

Hiccups is a strange one lol.
Thanks, we have sex regularly anyway, no fertility issues so guess i'll just cross my fingers and knuckle down!

Don't bring your knuckle down too hard though. Vital equipment won't thank you for it...

Good luck. Took me 14 months to conceive dc1. One night for dc2.

What show says! That book is brilliant. I'd advise against charting early on since it does increase pressure. Dtd 3-4 times a week means you're likely to hit your fertile period. I know I'm due to ovulate when I see ewcm and get ovulation pains.
