EGG SIGNS !!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies - I have been using Persona for the last four months & get an egg sign on day 17 & 18. The thing that i'm confused about is Ovulation! Do i ovulate on the first day or the second & when should i try to conceive for a boy!

I thought the boy sperm were the best swimmers and the girl sperm lived the longest, or is it he other way around????

I have completely stopped b/feeding and have had my dd2 9 weeks ago with c-section.
HOwever, havent had my 1st period yet and still waiting for it. i would love to have it so i know where i am now.How do i spot if/when i ovulate please?plese could you help me

would any one know if, when you get pregnant, the cervix stays open and you still get that 'soft lip ' feeling or does it get back to that 'tip of the nose' feel?

lots of question, i am sorry. I am actually starting to chart my basal temp, but dont know how to spot my ov day. How should you pinpoint it? what temp/at what point do you know that you are ovulating?

Hi Mate...the best thing to use is Persona to pinpoint you two fertile days & than you can use the Clearblue digital ovulation kits to confirm the actual day. All the ladies i'm talking to are using these and they are 99% accurate. I have been using Persona for the past four months & it gives me egg signs on day 17 & 18. I have now started to use the ovulation kits to detect the LH surge - while it's still fresh!

Thanks brimum. i did buy persona last year and couldnt use it because i was b/feeding. Silly me to forget about it at this time when i feel so lost.and you are right in remind it to me.cheers for the advice.

You will see a sharp temp rise after your ov. it should be 0.2 degrees higher than your average normal temp. Are you tracking you CM? I keep recommending a website which can tell you all about these indicators you can download tou charts ere too and they have spaces for yor CM and your persona machine results

I 'm trying not to think of it as needing an exact hit! Remember the sperm hangs about to catch the egg even if you haven't had sex that day

i did see a rise in my temp, and at the same time cervix open and high and feels like the low lip.as for the cm its not too reliable as i dont get too much of it,but i rely more on the temp thing. so that night we had sex which was last nite.so, i shall see. havnt had af yet and stopped b/feeding completely for 2 weeks now.had my dd2 for 10weeks.so, i dont know.cheers for advice

Hi fresco I'm glad your signs seem to be pointing to an Ov I haven't really perservered with the cervix thing. It took 6 months for my Cm to get to be as it should and I found that evening primrose oil really helped. I take quite a strong one but only for 1/2 my cycle I seem to Ov at day 15/16 and take it up to day 12.

its really frustrating the fact that i still havent got my periods back and i dont b/f any more for 6 weeks now.So, i am a bit lost to be honest.I still look at cervix position and cm but nothing happening yet
