Need some positive stories about pg after multiple mc's :(

Hi

I'm fed up - I posted last month that I got a BFP. Well, I miscarried at 5 weeks. This is my 2nd miscarriage.

I had a mmc 4 years ago, although that pregnancy was not planned. My DH and I recently started trying resulting in the 2nd miscarriage above. We have started trying again this month and I am desperate to have a healthy pregnancy, but I have stressed myself out reading all the recurrent miscarriage pages. Has anyone just been unlucky and had 2 mc's in a row and then gone on to have a healthy baby? I need happy ending stories to cheer me up :(

Yup, me.

Had 2 missed miscarriages then a strapping 9lb 14oz boy. Sadly had another 2 miscarriages before then having an 8lb 6oz girl.

I did see a doc after the first 2 m/cs though and had lots of reassurance scans and low dose aspirin. However I took aspirin when I had the second lot of miscarriages as well so don't think it made any difference!

Thanks everyone. I did go to the docs after my 2nd mc but it was a very early mc and he looked at me like I had 2 heads for even going to see him :( I just wanted it on my records in case I have a third so I have more chance of them being investigated.

You have given me hope though, I didn't realise there was a dedicated mc board on mn. I'll be having a look!
