Smoking and TTC

Hi everyone, I've been ttc my 2nd child for 8/9 months now, and for the first few, no smoking, no drinking, no caffeine etc.

(Stupidly I know) I started smoking again after a miscarriage earlier this year, and have yet to fall pregnant again. Do you think it makes a massive difference?

And if I gave up today (given that ovulation is approx 2 weeks away) do you think it would make a difference to this month? Or does it take ages to have a positive effect?

When ttc my first child I hadn't smoked for a few months and it happened on the first try...

(also, is there anything else I can try? Giving up or doing? Everyone I know is pregnant and I'm completely stressed out about it all.)

Could you think about acupuncture, perhaps for both? I'm considering it for ttc and I understand it's very relaxing.
Every day you don't smoke is of benefit to your potential baby.
Good luck.
