just as title says really!!

started TTC #2 summer 2011. Lost 2 pregnancies and a tube since and starting TTC again next month. Trying to stay relaxed about it (not charting/temping/POAOS) but wondered if the special lube was worth giving a go? Is it fairly spontaneous, ie. can you use as part of foreplay or do you have to apply, wait 5 mins then go for it or anything?

Thanks for the advice!

Hello lovely!! I use it because I don't tend to get much CM and sometimes I'm just not in the mood and it helps to get things, ahem started Blush

You can apply it up to 15 minutes before but I usually apply it and initiate foreplay straight away Smile

Hope that helps!

If you were going to use lube anyway, it's best to switch to sperm friendly lube. We use conceive plus within foreplay. It's pretty good but be warned, it's rather cold initially! :)

I don't think it's worth it if you don't otherwise need lube. I use Preseed and find it very good. It's meant to be used 15 mins before, with applicator, though don't use as much as it says in the instructions (try 1g rather than 3 to start). I find this makes it easier than using at the time and spoiling spontaneity.
I don't believe it'll get you pg though. Certainly hasn't for me, ttc no2 cycle4.

think i'll try conceive plus to get things started :)

sounds like if nothing else it will enhance enjoyment!!

We tried some conceive plus. Got my bfp but not sure if that helped of not. Warning it is very cold and runny!

We use conceive plus - definitely helps move the sex along but I did my research and basically it appears to be better to use none at all if you can. However if you're going to use it, stuff like conceive plus doesn't form a "barrier" as such, instead the little swimmers can swim right through it. To us, having to DTD on days we wouldn't normally, it definitely helps, though we only use if when we need to iyswim! I haven't got a BFP yet but a lot of women have while using,
