cm just before period?

So i am expecting my period anyday now. I am ttc but have done 2 negative tests. I am on day 33. So today I notice CM - of the egg white type! What can this mean>? Has this happenend to anyone ? Is there a tiny hope of a positive? mabybe I tested early>?

Did you have sex last night? You often get similar CM to egg white from sex, otherwise it could be the beginning of AF, (sorry)

thanks to all that responded, would you believe i started my period a few hours after i posted! i'm gutted - but the 2 negative results should have told me something - grasping at straws!

What HMo2 said if you look at the various hormone levels charted over a cycle you'll see a second oestrogen surge in the LP not as big as the one before O but still noticeable. It's the oestrogen that affects your CM to produce EWCM so if you are quite sensitive to oestrogen it's fairly common to have EWCM in the middle-to-end of the LP.
