I have had this flu thing and the aftermath is that I have extremely painful sinuses. Me and DH are currently TTC and my AF is due tomorrow. HAve some simptoms, sore boobs mainly, but have had those before and not been pregnant. Normally when I have bad sinuses I take sinutab but am bit reluctant to in case am PG? I know you can take paracetamol but anyone know if sinutab is ok? Part of me thinks I should just take it anyway as prob not pregnant (been ttc for 9 months now so getting a bit defeatest), but part of me thinks that what if this month is the one - any advice?

sinutab and a pregnancy test?

you can take cocodamol which is paracetamol and codein whilst pg. it can make you constipated if taken for a few days on the run. you could try eating strong mints to help clear your airways as well.

btw you cannot take sinutab when pg but I think there are decongestants you can take but you will have to find out if you are pg and then speak to your gp.

Steaming your face helps a lot.

agree with Enid about the steam - if you put some Vicks or Karvol in the water, the menthol steam will really help too.

Hope you feel better soon.

looks bloomin weird I know, but have been bf or pregnant last 6 years and needed something natural for my hayfever and sinuses. tried all sorts and this is the only thing that worked. they have used nasal washing in india for thousands of years and also used as part of yoga. stops you getting colds too if you use it every day.
