No sign of AF, but BFN. Does changing time-zones mess up your cycle?

So, I'm now over a week late. I've never skipped a period in my life. I've been vaguely TTC for about 8 months, but was away in the states for a month recently. I reckon the "welcome home" might just have caught my ovulation event horizon. Had a weekend of what felt like raging PMT (which has now abated), but still no sign of AF at all, cycle now on day 38 (normally 29-33 days). Did a POAS at the weekend, big fat no..
Does changing time zones mess up cycles? Totally mystified by this whole schmozzle.
HELP!
xx
