Hi Ladies, Just needing some advice :) I had a MC in January, and been ttc since, Ino that time wise it would be considered normal not to be pg again now, but im starting too worry, AF came back just after 6weeks later, which was normal. but since ive had a 24 day cycle + the one just gone was 25, also noticing ovulation signs, very obvious 1s around CD 6/7 the very stretchy discharge its straight after my period, yesterday it was there but brown streaked as was just coming of period. would this be considered normal?
before my MC i was 28 day cycles OV CD14. helpp? should i go to my GP, i read online if u ovulate to early it can reduce ure chances, as the egg may not be matured enough, or if it was to be fertilised the uterus lining wouldn't be ready x

Hi everything
Really sorry about your MC, and try not to worry about not being pg again yet. It can take longer than a couple of months for your body to settle down again.
Are you doing anything else to monitor your ovulation like using predictor kits or temping? I would recommend the book Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler which could really help you understand what might be going on. It would at least help you explain to a GP if you still feel in a couple of months that things aren't right as you'll have some evidence for this.
Hope this helps,
L

Hi everything.
The mucus can change befor or even after you ovulate, so it doesn't necessarily mean that you have missed it or anything - but because egg only viable for about 12h and sperm viable for much longer, is prob best to DTD earlier if poss. Egg will be released when it's ready!
Good luck tho - am also hoping to TTC soon after a MC and it really messes with your head trying to do the maths doesn't it?!

Hi, You've just described exactly what I've had this cycle.

I mc in Feb at 7 weeks then had early mc at about 5 weeks straight after - which the midwife attributed to the womb lining simply not being ready. This month (2nd cycle after 2nd mc) I had quite a heavy period followed immediately by the brown streaked EWCM. I hadn't thought about it until I read your post. I'm on CD11 and CM increasing again, but not to EWCM, bit early for that so not too worried yet as I expected to ovulate later this week. Don't temp or anything but think I might start next cycle to confirm I'm actually ovulating. It's so horrible isn't it! Before the mc's I had a perfect textbook 25 day cycle - i hope it returns soon!

Let us know how you get on if you go to the docs and what he says. Goodluck!

I also had the brown streaked CM after last AF (which was the first after my mc) -am sure is just everything still slightly skew-whiff but don't think it necessarily means not ovulating or that lining not ready etc, is just not quite as predictable as cycle was beforehand...

Thanks for replys girls, so comforting to think this is all normal :) never used to worry about this kind of thing before mc, sure does mess with yure head!

I'm not worried about not ovulating, more ovulating too early which could potentially mean another miscarriage if i was to conceive again, i think im just paranoid though. Even though i have EWCM now i probably won't ovulate for another few days which would be around CD10/11, which is normal for my 24/25day cycles! i have some ov tests arriving tomorrow or Thursday so will see what they say :)

I got a positive opk this morning :o im on CD 10, So will actualy ovulate later today or tomorrow im guessing so i think thats within the norm, for my 24-25 day cycles, i guess im just getting the EWCM quite early on, im taking it as a good thing though. very happy + as ease now. thanks again for all the replies on here :)

That is really good news Smile

Good luck,

I just wanted to say regarding the egg etc, I've always had pretty short cycles and my first two children were conceived on about CD11 Smile

This time I'm not sure if I ovulated on CD10 or 13 but had a positive OPK on day 11/12, so probably CD13. (thought CD10 as I was temping as well and had two rises!)

So you should be Ok regarding it being early. x
