Thought I would take the plunge and start the June thread! I won't be getting my May BFP as my cycles are sooooooo long. Who's. With me?

hey all

RIBS sounds good :) Fingers crossed!

I have cramps on and off so think AF is on her way. Am surprisingly not down about it at all, but really pleased to have the first post-mc period, clean my womb out (!) and enter the next cycle :) AND i can drink guilt free with my friends this weekend :)

Am not going to tttc for a couple of months to concentrate on finishing my PhD - thought I could do both, but obviously not as the mc has put me very behind!

Good luck with the BFPs ladies; will pop back in every so often am sure as am too nosy to stay away :)

KickingUpQuestions · 24/05/2012 14:04

whenshewas

You can join anyway. You can be the only sticky one there :D

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 24/05/2012 14:23

Thanks kicking might head over but don't want to destroy the lovely calm vibe you have there.

KickingUpQuestions · 24/05/2012 14:29

You can add to the lovely calm vibe and then pop out to fret over OV sticks on another thread Grin

winkle2 · 24/05/2012 17:12

bye wilde and good luck for the future

I'm going for the sods law method! I've rejoined weight watchers and I have a job interview on Tuesday morning!

redstrawberry · 24/05/2012 17:28

I am so confused, not sure whether I have AF or Pregnancy symptoms - lots of cramping, heavy sore boobs, CM still lotiony wet and creamy, - 1 day to go till AF shows up. I feel a bit achy and stomach is very tender - can't put too much pressure on it.

I think I will probably break and test in May - there is no chance I am going to be able to wait till the 1st of June.

KickingUpQuestions · 24/05/2012 17:42

Test now. If they are pg symptoms, it means the hormone is in your body enough to cause symptoms.

wilderumpus · 24/05/2012 17:55

test red! do it, do it :) If my AF doesn't come by sat I will be a may tester too! (It will though!)

am so keen to put ttc to the back of my mind but have spent the WHOLE day obsessing about my lack of imminent af. arg!

icequeenkate · 24/05/2012 18:05

Test! Test! Grin please?

FloweryBoots · 24/05/2012 18:38

Winkle - your brave going for job and TTC. WE put off TTC until I'd got a new job and done at least a few months. But go you, wish we'd just done that now, would have meant less time in this really sucky job before being able to pack it in for Mat leave! ANd who cares if it's a bit uncomfortable when you have to tell work and you've only been there 5 minutes? You're not going to remember that for long, and you have your kiddie for the rest of your life.

I don't actually know any more if I want to have got preggers this month now. If I haven't we are likely to put it back on hold so I can leave this job and get a different one. Not ideal timing though since Hubs just been made redundent, but I can't go on trying to do a job that regularly has me in floods of tears and makes me feel ill at the thought of coming every morning (NOT a prgnancy symptom, is not morning sickness, really is just work Grin). If I'm already pregnant I'll have to stick it out. We haven't DTD since Sunday. Hubs was away Tuesday night any way, then was even later back home on Wed due to delaye train and I was utterly exhausted. I'm working late tonight, and know I won't feel like it later as am so down with work and so tired from past 3 nights of DS refusing to sleep, and Hubs away for the England match Friday - Sunday. So, think we've finished our chances for this cycle any way, which actually is sort of good because it takes away the need to make an active decision on whether to stop TTC or not.

The (quite possibly all in our heads) possible symptoms are all exciting though. Fx!

winkle2 · 24/05/2012 18:43

Good luck red!!

Flowery - I've been wanting to leave my job for 2 years! First I put it off because I was getting married, then I put it off because I might get pregnant. I just can't put my life on hold any longer,

KickingUpQuestions · 24/05/2012 18:52

I've been at my job fir 2 months and i am looking for something else .

A job right now is a definite feature

a baby Isn't

there is no point putting your life on hold when ttc

KFFOREVER · 24/05/2012 19:02

I was working as a locum but went permanent in March. To get my full benefits of maternity leave from the company I should be starting to conceive from mid August so if im not pregnant now maybe it is a blessing in disguise (but frowns really wishes she was pregnant.lol)

Good luck with your job interview winkle.

Awww Red sounds promising good luck.

Pinkie29 · 24/05/2012 19:06

I've been at my job for 4yrs so no worries about maternity leave phew Smile

KickingUpQuestions · 24/05/2012 19:25

Where is red?!!

Pinkie29 · 24/05/2012 20:03

Calling Red!

Pinkie29 · 24/05/2012 20:27

Reeeeeeeeeeedddddd!!!!

redstrawberry · 24/05/2012 20:37

I am here ! Still determined to wait till tomorrow! One more day!

KFFOREVER · 24/05/2012 20:43

Im excited for you Red :)

redstrawberry · 24/05/2012 20:43

Ok I did a test :( BFN guess I'm surely out for June now
I am quite upset and disappearing for a bit. Will be back later.

Going to go crawl into bed and feel sorry for myself.

redstrawberry · 24/05/2012 20:44

Still staring at the test wishing it would change to two lines yet it isn't :(

KickingUpQuestions · 24/05/2012 20:49

Ah red i am sorry :(

Its early day yet. It will happen soon

tedmundo · 24/05/2012 21:19

@red .. When were you due to test hon? It is most likely too early. Use more potent piddle in the morning or even wait a couple of days, if you can handle it. Please don't despair. AF not here yet, so still in the game.

@winkle .. Great news about the interview. I think even to get an interview in the current climate is exceptional and you should be proud of yourself.

@wilde .. I def felt a relief to have a full, clear cycle after the mc. Good luck with the future and soon you will be Dr Wilde!

@RIBS .. Ah yes, the shitty milestones you hit after a mc can kick you in the teeth. I am trying very hard not to fixate on dates as for the last preg I knew them all (scans, trimesters, due date). It is hard not to think .. I would be x months now .. And every time it hurts. Being preg again will def make me feel better about it.

Right, I have a problem tonight. or maybe not .. I need some advice. I got a full positive opk on Monday so probably ovulated on Tuesday. we dtd on Monday night, night off on Tuesday, then DTD again on Wednesday morning. I have read over and over not to give up DTD too early but DH is refusing to have sex with me tonight! says he is too tired.

Short of tramping the streets to find a horny student (I live in a very studenty area) I guess that means my last fertile day is lost. is this a big prob do you think??

winkle2 · 24/05/2012 21:34

I think that's ok ted but maybe try again tomorrow do you've dtd eod?

Anyone else dreading dtd in this weather!?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 24/05/2012 21:34

So sorry Red but Ted could be right if you didn't use fm urine maybe the hcg was not concentrated enough for a positive. Can you try again tomorrow?

@Ted I think you have probably dtd on the right days anyway. The egg is only viable for about 12-24 hours. So if you ovulated on Tuesday and dtd on Wed you should have caught the egg.

Was tempted to tell you this is a really fertile day and have you walking the street. Grin
