Baseline scan while taking Clomid

First day of period today, so starting Clomid tomorrow. I was expecting to book a baseline scan when I phone up to arrange the follicle tracking ones, but I've now seen a few sites where people say that you can't have a baseline scan once you've actually started taking the pills.

Please could you share what you were told and did?

if you've been told to do it then do it I guess. I had a day 12 scan on my first round. it was to check whether the follicles were getting ready to release an egg. then a day 21 blood test to see whether they actually did.
