Ok so I'm 42 with 2 DC's and would love a third. DH and I haven't used contraception since first trying for children so obv we don't fall pregnant easily!!
AF due in 3 or 4 days but been feeling a bit icky on and off do did a FMU Sainsbos test today and Bfn but coming up to bed feeling really icky again which seems familiar and just checked the test again and there is a feint but obvious line!!
Now I know they say don't check it again after a certain time but when I fell pg with DS I did an early FMU and BFN then checked late that evening and feint line and yes I was PG!!
Have no more tests in house but what do you think??? We only DTD once this month so it would be a bloody miracle!!!

The sensible me would say wait to test again until the day AF is actually due, but the pathetically childish excitable me would say go out and buy more tests immediately woman!

You're really not supposed to read the tests after the time, but you had a positive experience with it before so..I dunno. Good luck x

You can't really rely on the test fished out the bin but we've all done it! I would get another test and test with fmu when AF is due. Good luck!

Thanks both!! Haven't got another test yet but still feeling icky on and off and retched a bit this morning whilst teeth brushing but it's probably all psychosomatic!!!

RachelHRD - I'm in the same boat! Also 42 (in 2 weeks time), with one DS. My cycles have been a bit all over the place, sometimes 27 days, sometimes 22. This month I was spotting as normal and thought, "here it comes" but it didn't turn up and the spotting stopped. Took a test yesterday (CD 23) but definite BFN, even after fishing out the bin.

I'm now pretty sure I'm not but there's always hope!

Aarrgghhhhh!! Just made a special trip to Sainsbo's to get some more tests - came back, did one with the small wee I could muster and the bloody test line hasn't appeared!!!!

Will try again in the morning - but still feeling icky and a bit dizzy.......

Any news downindorset?? Fingers crossed!!! x
