Help ...Bleeding 8 days before period is due.

We are trying for our third child.

Im on day 21 of my cycle today(they are normally 28 days long) although my last cycle was 31 days.

Last night (day20) I started bleeding, not heavy but I still am and first thought it could be implantation bleeding as I think conception happened 5 days ago.....so could it be implantation bleeding...I have doubts as Im not sureit happen this early???Im no expert... or is it something else??? I have never had bleeding this early before in any cycle so something is not right.

Should I go to GP tommorow or leave it..Im not in any great pain just period like pain

It could be a implantation bleed, i had this, started bleeding a few days before period was due but only bled for one day (not heavy). Good luck, fingers crossed for you.

agree that it could be impantation bleed, if you have been on the pillyou are more likely to ovulate later than 14 days into cycle, hope things work out for you.

Did your bleed start about a week before? I think if I was bleeding 2 or 3 days before my period I would be more confident that it was implantation bleed.

Last night I had a real surge of pain, like a wave of pain for a few secs then came the bleeding..could that have been the implantation bleed..its doing my head in as I want to know!

it cant be a misscarriage this early or eptopic can it|?

Sorry to keep going on just really worried as I really want this

Hi HVK - what is the bleeding like? I had an ectopic and the bleed went on for a long time and was thin, watery, brownish colour. It started around the time my period was due. I am no expert so can't give you advice, only that you should get yourself checked out if you are at all worried.

Got my fingers crossed for you - I know how nerve-wracking the early days can be

its fresh blood, not brown at all and could easily be mistaken for a normal period although not as heavy

Hopefully it is an implantation bleed then. Probably best to give it a couple of days and if you still don't feel right get yourself to the GP. Best of luck.

thank you..just wish I could hear from someone that has had slight bleeding a week before their period was due and resulted in pregnancy!

Waiting is going to be so hard

I had spotting when my period was due that tured out to be implantation bleeding, didt get a bfp till two weeks later, (was on the pill and not ttc) but I hope you get the result you are looking for

Phoned my doc who said it was likely to be an early period.

Not enough time for it to be implantation (5 days) She certainly didn think it was ectopic or miscarriage as again she felt it was too early.

Oh well back to the drawing board..will still do PT just to put my mind at rest at weekend.

no, not rough in bedroom dept...doc asked me if i had any bleeing afterwards and i said no..bleeding has come 4/5 days later??

I have been and got a first response preg test which I will do sunday when my period is due.

Keeping my fingers crossed but I dont think I will be, as I'm still bleeding, lightly though.

another personal question (very sorry), are you up to date with all your smears? my mum wasn't and started bleeding like a period in between periods. she's now waiting results after having loads of different tests done. i hope it's nothing like what my mum's experiencing but there might be another reason for the bleeding, maybe ask the doctor to see whether this could be a possibility?

my last one was about a year and abit ago

dont think its that but has crossed my mind. Never had bleeding inbetween before. this is the first month we have started "trying" and the bleeding comes??? i think its more related to that but I think now its an early period as the bleeding hasnt stopped

I'm due a period in 7 days yesterday I had two little spots of blood .Today I've had a white milky discharge .I never experienced this before a period before could it be early pregnancy sign I'm desperate to conceive again and literally clutching at straws someone help answer my question please !!

I wanted to know if having bleeding is normal 8 days early ? I always got my period on the 1st of every month but as of today its 8 days early. Can someone let me know if thats normal ?

I'm 24 I was on the Depo shot for a while got off of the Depo last year and I've been trying to have a baby since I was 23 no success yet do you think that being on that Depo shot could have pushed my chances low since being on Depo Vera?

It can take a while for a cycle to get back to normal after Depo so it doesn't necessarily mean there's anything wrong, just that your body is still finding its rhythm. You might want to consider tracking ovulation with OPKs or by temping/charting so you can pinpoint when you're ovulating and fertile.

trying to figure out if this says a period or implantation or bleeding I usually start my period on the 1st it started 8 days early two and a half days only lasted for about two and a half days and now feeling like not enough for laying a tampon it's a little bit pink brown not sure if that's towards an end of a. Or is it implantation plus I had the period 8 days sooner but not sure if it was a period or not could anybody help me and give me any answers please
