PCOS Possible late period??

Hello.

I need a little help if possible??

I got diagnosed with PCOS last october and got started on metformin i started on 500mcg and gradually built it up to 2000mcg altho i cant stomach 2000 so generally take 1500mcg.
My periods were all the place anyway between 45-72 days!!!
It tool 3 months for met to start to work.
Jan cycle was 44 days long,
Feb cycle 35 days,
March cycle was 28 days...not had a 28 day cycle ever!! Soo pleased my cycles are regulating :) .............................
anyhow this months period is currently day 38????
Can i take this as being a late period, or is it common to have cycles like this while on metformin??

Yeh yday and today hun. Both Negative x

I thought if my cycle was going to follow on from last months (28 days) AF should have came on 11th April ...however on the 12th i noticed a lot of EWCM,....which iv heard you get when you ovulate??
My blood results in october showed i wasnt ovulating ( lh-fsh levels)
but because my periods are getting more regular was wondering if i have ovulated..but that would have been a day after my 28 day cycle was due.
Im just confused.

I had a negative test a couple of days before positive test with ds (on metformin). I know it's hell.

Really ?? Did you have regular periods??

Not until the met kicked in. I tested at day 28 and negative. Held out another week and it was positive.

Okay. So how far apart were your periods hun if you dont mind me asking?? Were they bang on each month once met kicked in??

Yep after a couple of months on met they went to 28 days.

Can anyone else help me/? Still no period Day 40 now. Can i just mention after noticing slimey cm on the 12th a few days later it was creamy then wwnt fairly white and thick. Sorry TMI!! Is this the norm after ovulation ( if i have ovulated ) xx
